Early and Earnest after GOD...

On Monday August 27, 2012, our Lord had me to share, in one of my broadcast episodes, "Prayer and Word Power" about the importance of seeking Him early. That instruction is contained in the Holy Bible, and I'm a firm believer in adherence to it. Then, this morning, I read a Facebook post that mentioned seeking our Lord early.

Today the Spirit  of the Lord inspired me to share the following: 

If we wait until late mornings, or in afternoons or evenings to commune with our Lord through prayer, reading His Words, and being intimate in other Spirit-led ways, isn't that like giving GOD our leftovers after we've attended to other matters during the course of our days? Typically, in the mornings we're fresh and alert and able to give our Lord our best in intimacy.

Sadly, some who profess Christ as Lord don't engage in daily intimacy with our Lord. Such conduct certainly isn't biblical. The Holy Bible in The Acts 17:11, mentions that they "searched the scriptures daily." Also, Joshua 1:8 instructs, "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." And Psalm 1:2 states, "But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night."

Note: Of course, there are some Christians, due to illnesses etc., who cannot indulge... Certainly, such instances are clear to our Lord. But for those who are able but refuse to invest in daily intimacy with our Lord... When we aren't fully armoured, in accordance with the Words of GOD, we can be stumblingblocks not just to others, but to ourselves, as well. Jeremiah 44:4 declares,  "Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate."

Today in my morning devotions, our Lord led me to look up the word early in the Strong's Concordance.

Psalm 63:1
...early will I seek thee:...

Psalm 78:34
...and inquired early after God.

Proverbs 8:17
I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

...with my spirit within me will I seek thee early:...

BEWARE OF WOLVES IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING...

Matthew 7:15, 16

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Ye shall know them by their fruits...

Hebrews 4:14

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

People, Satan is rabid to discredit GOD and GOD'S purposes.  And some of the main folks that the devil uses are those who are in churches.  We're commanded to love and to forgive but nowhere in the Holy Bible are we commanded to trust in man.  Trust should be proven.  And the only ONE who can be FULLY trusted is GOD. 

1 Corinthians 2:5

That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

We are in spiritual warfare daily and daily we need to be fully armored according to the Word of GOD in Ephesians 6.  

Satan has no pity for us.  He has diabolical hatred. We cannot afford to give him place for he can devour us if we don't cleave intimately to GOD. 

Hosea 4:6

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Evil is waxing worse and worse.  The body of Christ members must live lives that distinguish us from the people of the world.  We're  mandated to please GOD above all else.  If we don't, for sure, we'll experience unpleasant consequences for our rebellion.  Now is the time to do the will of GOD.  Our Lord is becoming increasingly displeased at how He's being mocked.  In particular, by those who profess to be His children while steadfastly being more in conformance with the standards of the world, which is allegiance to the agenda of Satan.

2 Timothy 3:13

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Titus 1:16

They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

1 Samuel 15:23

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry....

Our Lord shared with me that, relative to corrections, He can deal with us on three levels. 

Level 1 = Requests from Him

Level 2 = Warnings from Him 

Level 3 = Judgments from Him

If we don't heed GOD'S requests, He comes sharp with rebukes = warnings.  If we don't heed His warnings, He comes with furious rebukes = judgments - in this life and beyond.

Ezekiel 25:17

And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.

Colossians 3:25

But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.

Jeremiah 2:27, 28

...for they have turned their back unto me, and not their face: but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us.

But where are thy gods that thou hast made thee? let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble:...

People are playing with and mocking GOD.  GOD is NOT playing with us.  We need to forsake conforming to the world.  Certainly, GOD isn't pleased when His full gospel is compromised. 
 
It bears repetition.  He, requests, then warns, and then judges.

Exodus 32:26

...Who is on the Lord's side?...

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

I ask, if "once saved, always saved," why does our Lord say the following?:

Alcoholics, Drug Addicts and Their Family Members

This morning in my prayer time our Lord spoke these words to me, "Some of the drug addicts and alcoholics who get saved will reach spiritual places where their souls will follow hard after Me.  They are going to be warriors - major forces against the powers of evil.  I will have them to explode on this earth scene to blow up in dimensions that will cause the devils to tremble on levels unlike any other..."

Psalm 63:8
My soul followeth hard after thee:

Jeremiah 5:14
...behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire,...

Joel 2:7
They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:

Also, our Lord shared with me that more of the people who are homeless, including military veterans, shall come forth as holy warriors. 

Here is an excerpt that I wrote in a piece titled, "God's In Your Face Memo to Satan.":

GOD says to the devil:

"This warrior troop, Satan, is fully persuaded that I am their Commander in Chief - and their Fortress. They love, obey, and trust Me. They await, in earnest, My military orders. They are thirsty for blood - devil blood. Holy supernatural blood transfusions are part of the order of this day. The blood of some of your children will be transfused into the blood of JESUS to wash their sins away. You have been blood sucking, Satan, long enough on GOD'S destined heirs. The cross of My SON is their deliverance."

"I am poised, wicked one, with My trumpet call - out to the elite Special Forces. Some of the team will come from unlikely places. I have warriors in homeless shelters, jails/prisons, and living on the streets, - Oh don't be deceived - some of My best are from, and will come from such places." Hark! Let the record show - a select number of folks who have been disenfranchised are My franchisees indeed.

"More people, Satan, from every spectrum of society will surrender to Me. The suits - the no-suits - the rich - the religious, and Oh yes, more backsliders will slide back to ME. You know also that My reach is global. Mark 16:15 says, '...Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.' North, south, east and west, My gospel shall be preached, and whosoever will - shall come!"

"You can look forward, Satan, to My new breed mean machine team. We mean to do exploits with excellence, and certain triumphant results."

Below are prayers for addicts and their family members.

Prayers for Addiction Strong Holds 

For addicts

Pure and holy Father GOD, thank You that with You all things are possible. Your Word states that there is nothing too hard for You. In this prayer, I decree deliverance and complete freedom for drug and alcohol addicts. Father, You know that among the many addicts, there are professional people who are addicted, and that includes doctors and other medical professionals, some of whom are addicted to prescription drugs. There are people all over this world who are gripped by the bondage of addiction. They are found in every economic class, race, culture, and persuasion.

Lord, I ask, according to Your Word, that You will set the captives free, set at liberty those who are bound, and send Your Word to heal them. Let Your holy saints go forth to love on those who are gripped by the strong holds of demonic addictions. Reveal the best ways to help them with Your Word as guide. Allow Your Holy Ghost power to move within the ensnared hearts, and lead the addicted to run into Your healing arms.

Work Your marvels, blessed Lord, and prove to the doubters that You reign. You are powerful beyond measure and only You can subdue and destroy the works of the devil that hold people captive. Get the "monkeys off their backs," Lord, and put JESUS in their hearts. You are love, glorious Father GOD. Let, please, Your rivers of living water pour forth as a miraculous fountain to wash people clean with the operation of Your Word and JESUS' righteous blood. You are a Fortress, a Rock, a Strong Tower, and a very present help in the time of trouble.

Deliverance is a process. Process people, please Lord, through all of the necessary channels to reach triumphant victories. Equip them, glorious Father, to stand fully armored to vanquish the vicious "death" grips that Satan worked on them. Teach them to have life and to have it more abundantly. Let them taste and see that the Lord is good. Teach them to fight the good fight of faith through steadfast obedience to You and Your Word. Give them staying power. Show them how to fight on their knees and on their faces in full dependence on You. Remove them from toxic and negative relationships. Let Your awesome anointing flood the souls of the many thirsty people. Work in them, please, Lord, hearts that will not faint but press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of GOD in Christ JESUS.

For loved ones of addicts

Father, in the name of JESUS, help those who love and care for addicts. There are Christians who have loved ones who are addicted to drugs and alcohol. They hurt, Lord. Please help them to continue to believe Your Word and to trust You to deliver and to destroy the works of the devil. Give them the strength to use their holy authority to keep faith in the powerful blood of JESUS. Teach them, please, Father, to be still and to know that You are GOD. Lead them to seek Your wisdom as to what to do, when, and how. Assure them that they are NOT victims but blood bought heirs of You, Almighty GOD and joint heirs with JESUS. Guide them to know that they can have peace, joy, and Your blessed assurances in the midst of their storms. Let them shed the necessary tears of grief but then dry their eyes and praise You, Lord. You promised to keep us in perfect peace when our minds are stayed on You.

Lord, those who are not Christians need salvation for themselves, and for their drug and alcohol addicted loved ones. Please reach the hearts of the unsaved and distressed. So many are in despair, Father. But You can change and liberate weary and despondent conditions. Please, Lord, prove to the many that are gripped by fear, pain and uncertainties that You love them hugely, and can effectively help in ALL matters.

Thank You, Lord - Amen.

NOTE: The prayers above were inspired by a Christian man, Ben Ward, who I viewed on a Christian program. He's on staff at a faith-based program called Eagle Creek Recovery Center - http://www.eaglecreekrecoverycenter.com/. He gave his testimony that from the age of twelve, he began to drink alcohol which led to pot, and a crack cocaine addiction. Also, Ben's written testimony is found on the Eagle Creek Recovery Center's website, along with the testimony of other former addicts.

GOD ENTERS AND EXITS IN WIN MODE

Scriptures are from the King James Bible.

As I read the Holy Bible this morning, I thought something like, "Lord, in the entire content of Your Bible, there is no battle that You didn't impressively win."  

The Word of GOD has plenty of fighting going on, especially illustrated in the Old Testament.  Yes, indeed, a whole lot of fighting going on but GOD always triumphs!

All types of characters made choices to take on the Most High GOD.  People such as Pharaoh, Jezebel, Goliath, Tobiah, and Haman all foolishly fought against GOD.  They made threats and vigorously fought against the purposes of our Lord.  Numerous kings defied and attacked what He destined.   The Philistines, Pharisees, Hittites, Ammonites, and the Moabites, among other enemies of GOD, opposed but couldn't stop the Almighty Creator.

Our Lord humiliated, subdued, and utterly destroyed His enemies.  It's excellent medicine for our souls to read of the assorted ways that our GOD defeated His enemies.  How great that He continues to gain astounding wins.  There are no low profile righteous victory accounts shown in the Bible.  GOD reveals His triumphs with flourish and major attitude. 

The devil shows off.  GOD delights in showing ON.

And it's so encouraging to know that our Lord is not a respecter of persons.  He respects holiness.

Colossians 3:25
But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.

In 2 Samuel 12: 11, 12, after David committed his secret sin, the Lord told David, a man after GOD's heart, these words:

Thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house,...   

For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel,... 

And what about what Paul said in The Acts 16:37?

But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned being Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out.

The Acts 26:26
For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner.

No, folks, GOD isn't a corner loving GOD.  He delights in being on display - showing ON!  His victories are unfailingly impressive with certain flourish.  And the means that He uses - such genius and variety.  Conventional methods aren't His signature style.

In 1 Samuel 17, Goliath "prophesied" to David about how he was going to give his flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field.  Well, we know what David said and did.  He boldly proclaimed prophetic truth that came to pass in spectacular fashion.  

1 Samuel 17:45, 46
Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. 

Yes, our Lord loves having His name in the news accompanied by victory reports. 

Our Father expects us to live holy and to walk in steadfast victories.  To do otherwise is to give victories to the devil - for he loves when we surrender to his evil and deceptive agenda.   

When we cleave to GOD, we deal devastating blows to the dominion of Satan.  We are appointed to destroy the works of the devil and when we walk in the Spirit that is precisely what we do.

GOD comes in winning and He leaves winning.  He enters and exits in win mode - EVERY TIME - and so can we, as we wholly trust and utterly obey Him.   

Hail to the Most High Holy GOD!

GAINFULLY EMPLOYED

Isn't it wonderful that GOD'S saints are gainfully employed?  Yes, indeed, we're gainfully employed to love our Lord above all else, and to righteously manifest the fruits of His Spirit with holiness in use of the gifts of His Spirit.  

Our Lord recruited us to be about His full gospel business.  We signed our names on the "dotted lines" to be soldiers in the army of GOD.  Glory to our Father for a holy covenant with us, and for His exceeeding great and precious promises.  Hallelujah that He proves to be a promise keeper.  

Saints of GOD are mandated to be loving, holy, faithful, honest and certainly credible in our affairs.  We shouldn't be doing any transactions "under the table."  GOD expects, among other righteous actions, integrity from His true worshippers.  Also, the Word of GOD commands us to be courteous.

1 Peter 3:8
...be courteous

Is selfishness often on our menus?  Are we sufficiently sensitive to the needs of others?  When we imitate Christ, selfishness and insensitivity aren't on the radar.  Gainful employment means team work in unity as the body of Christ in holy form.      

We are assigned and appointed to work, with fervency, to perform our duties to advance the glorious kingdom of GOD.  Souls need to be pulled out of the fire.  Our Lord is in the soul winning business and He commands us to work with Him for His Words to be confirmed with signs following - Mark 16:20.

We are fire anointed, Holy Ghost sent, and combat ready to dispossess the devil and to possess the kingdom of GOD - now - in this life.

Jeremiah 5:14
Wherefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire,...

John 7:29
But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me.   

Numbers 33:53
And ye shall disposses the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it. 

Our Lord has provided us generous benefit packages.  Of course, there are conditions that must be met.  When we comply, assurdedly GOD manifests His best in our lives.  When we give Him our best, certainly we get His best!

Nothing compares to being gainfully employed in the kingdom of GOD. 

1 Timothy 6:6
But godliness with contentment is great gain.

Matthew 25:20, 21
And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord,  thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.  

GOD IS ON TOP OF IT ALL - FOREVER

Nothing goes on that escapes our Lord's radar.  Our enemies are on assignment.  Satan works in a controlled environment.  GOD controls the environment. 

John 19:11
Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above:... 

When our Lord gives our enemies power over us, when we abide in our Lord intimately, persecution works to our advantage.  It is used to strengthen us, to purge us, to prepare us, to equip us, and definitely to prove to us and to the devil that though he fights us, he cannot win.  It's impossible to fight against GOD and win.

Truth be told, we need persecution to become holy soldiers and warriors in the army of GOD.  The Word of GOD instructs us to count it all joy, to be of good cheer, and to think it not strange.  It is for the scriptures to be fulfilled.  GOD shows on through us when we conduct ourselves victoriously in the midst of all the wickedness of Satan.  Satan shows off.  GOD shows on and shines through us with His most High glory.  

This is a great opportunity to extend thanks to those who oppose us.  We need to pray for them, of course, to forsake their perverted and deceived lives.  It's fitting to be thankful because what Satan uses them to do aids in our development in our Lord for His holy purposes.  GOD is the MASTER of it all - forever.

The Holy Spirit led JESUS into the wilderness. 

Luke 4:1
And JESUS being full of he Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness.

GOD hardened Pharaoh's heart because GOD always has a MASTER plan.  Pharaoh foolishly believed that he was on top of the situations.  In truth, GOD used Pharaoh's hard heart to show undeniable proof that GOD is Most High and always on top of it all.  Even some of Pharaoh's servants recognized that Pharaoh was a deceived fool.

Exodus 8:19
Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God:... 

Exodus 9:20
He that feared the word of the Lord among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and cattle flee into the houses.

Exodus 10:7
And Pharaoh's servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the Lord their God: knowest though not yet that Egypt is destroyed?

Also, we read in Exodus 6:12 about Pharaoh's magicians, "For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods."

2 Corinthians 12:9, 10

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.  Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Yes, folks, the devil is fighting the righteous, which means that he's fighting GOD.  Our Lord allows Satan to fight Him but the wicked devil can never win in fights with GOD.  Satan cannot conquer the Most High.  The champion is always GOD.

Psalm 91:1
He that dwelleth...shall abide.

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

...the gates of hell shall not prevail.

GOD IS ABOVE ALL, AND BIRTHDAY BLOODLINE

...I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring. 

My birthday is April 30th and I'm honored to have been given Helen Marie as the lady who our Lord appointed to birth me.  Of course, my earthly father had a role; a tribute to him may be done at some point...

Glory to GOD who is above all.  It is He who has led me to write this appreciation to celebrate my mother.  Some weeks ago, I designed a key ring that expressed, among other things, "Courage is in our bloodline - Revelation 12:11."  Then on Friday April 20th, in a dream, I spoke to someone and confidently referenced my mother.  Then, in the dream, I boldly proclaimed to that person that I came from a courageous bloodline.  

Below is a recent tribute that I wrote about my mother.  I wrote the tribute on March 8, 2012 - weeks before I had the "bloodline" dream on April 20, 2012.

Tribute to My Mother, Helen Marie 

Her first name means “torch,” “shining one.”  Her middle name means “star of the sea.”  Many are blessed to know the immense joy and comfort that is experienced when provided constant assuring love by our mothers.  My mother graduated from this earth when I was a teenager.  While here, she was a precious jewel who shone brightly in the lives of her children and others who were fortunate to enjoy her presence.  Mama left no doubt that she was a treasure of love.  Truly, there were countless moments when I felt the realness of her beautiful soul, the loving and protective embraces from her tender arms, the necessary discipline from her places of wisdom, and her clear messages to folks when they violated her boundaries of what was acceptable relative to engagement with her children.  To me, she aced the role of motherhood.  Thank you, Mama!

My mother’s signature style was to give unselfishly even to those who took her kindness for granted.  With all that she endured, she remained an optimist.  My heart swells with immense gratitude to God for the cherished gift of my beloved mother, Helen Marie.  Indeed, she lived up to the meanings of her names “torch,” “shining one,” and “star of the sea.”  Blaze on, Mama, blaze on.  Truly, you are a star.  It’s my joyous pleasure to be of your beautiful bloodline.

My middle name, Renee, is derived from Renatus which means: "born again," "reborn"

Over the months our Lord has shared that He does blessed things for me, first - for His names sake - then for my sake as reward for diligence in seeking Him.  Also, He's shared that He shows favor to me for the sake of my parents because they walked uprightly before our Lord.  Thank You, glorious Father!

Of course, our Lord rewards and shows favor to all who abide in Him...  Here I've expressed what He shared with me.

This month, for the first week, the Spirit led me to consecrate to our Lord.  It was such a gain.  Later, He instructed me to consecrate to Him the first week of every month.  Until our Lord instructs me otherwise, that's what I'll do.  He hasn't led to share here what my consecration involves but surely the purpose is to spend more than usual time with our Lord in communion and intimacy beyond what is my norm.

Several years ago, I read where a holy man of GOD stated that if we can eat three natural meals a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner, then we can spend time with our Lord at least three times a day, as well.  That quickened me and since then it's been my practice to spend at least three times a day in fellowship with our Lord.  In the morning is my lengthiest time with Him.

In the Holy Bible, it mentions that Daniel was on his knees to our Lord three times a day- Daniel 6:10.

Psalm 55:17
Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

Psalm 119:164 
Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.

Psalm 1:2
But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

Joshua 1:8
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. 

This week I heard a testimony from a minister that struck me strongly.  He expressed that his practice is to spend time with our Lord three times a day.  He mentioned that once he missed about a week of devotions with our Lord.  Later he asked our Lord why He didn't rebuke him for not spending devotions with Him as he usually did - three times a day.  The Lord told the minister that such devotion times result in deepness in Him but that He, GOD, doesn't require such deep communion with Him.  Further, our Lord told him that such has to be desired.  "You have to want it," GOD told the minister.  Wow!  That had major impact on me.

Earlier this week, our Lord gave me this scripture: 

2 Corinthians 9:6
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 

When I heard that minister's testimony, the Spirit brought to my remembrance that scripture in 2 Corinthians 9:6.  Previously, whenever I read that scripture, I associated it with material things but our Lord taught me that it also applies to how we sow and reap spiritually relative to our devotion to our Lord.

Prayer: 

Father, please help us to keep You as our FIRST LOVE for we breathe Your precious air.  Increase our knowledge of You, dear Lord, as we purpose to steadfastly draw nigh to You.  

Thank you, Lord - Amen

You may wonder what are some of the main things that I desire for my birthday.

The top three things: 

- To love GOD more deeply
- To utterly obey and to wholly trust and follow GOD firm unto the end
- To live a holy lifestyle to impact others so that they won't go to hell.

Please pray that we who profess Jesus as Lord will steadfastly be DOERS of the Holy Bible.  To GOD be the glory!

Thank you for your love and prayers.  Certainly, you are in my prayers, as well. 

Numbers 6:24-27

DEATH OF TOXIC RELATIONSHIPS

How many of us are in continuance mode with relationships that are dead weight associations? I mean they add nothing to us but certainly subtract from our positive progressive journeys. The subject relationships could be relative to family, friends, acquaintances,  and dating associations. I don't exclude from these descriptions some “Christian” connections which can also prove hazardous to godliness.

Our Lord does appoint us to minister to the dead and instructs us to be mindful that we were once dead ourselves. It is, however, crucial to be in tune with our Father to discern when to move on as the Spirit leads. My experience has been to linger too long where I should have cancelled some “subscriptions” to relationship “magazines.” Fool that I was, I remained in the “pages” well after the expiration dates. Hampered spirituality was the result when I continued engagements where I no longer had any business.

We can allow vice grips on our emotions that cause us to cling to toxic connections. Why do we cling? The reasons vary. Fear readily comes to mind. We can fear the absence of the entanglements. Granted, the entanglements are toxic but we foolishly desire them, regardless. Often, we are afraid to disengage. We have become accustomed to the presence. Inner battles rage.

We know better but are afraid to do better. What will it mean? What can replace them? Reluctance is stronger than logic.  There is hope. Undoubtedly, it can be difficult to trade in liabilities for assets. One reality is that assets aren't always immediate after cancellation of liabilities. Hurt tends to be the immediate consequence. Separation anxiety is a definite result. Tough it out, though, because rainbows can be a certainty.

It is absolutely a surety that we can rise above the pain. What is vital is a heart to work through it with awareness that it will hurt but conquer we shall.

Emotional warfare is an apt way to describe it. We must purpose to do it and allow nothing and no one to impede our journeys to wholeness. GOD can show us the paths of life. His question is, “Do you want to press on to gain it?”

Recently, someone gave me declarations that, in essence, amounted to rejection of me. Gratitude is felt for that rejection because I learned that inwardly I've come to a new place. What he said was beneficial for me to know. It may, to some people, seem odd for me to express gratitude for rejection. The truth that he spoke resulted in some measures of freedom for me. Something shifted within when I digested the content of his words. That shift has been instrumental in turning some things right side up. I am thankful.

Burial of dead relationships is essential to move forward. We cannot embrace freedom if we cling to death.

In the interest of balance, I cannot conclude here without inclusion of another aspect on the matter of toxic dead relationships. Evidence supports that there are instances that the dead can live again or live where there was no previous life. Once toxic doesn't necessarily mean always toxic. Remedies do exist to bring the dead to life.

Happily, toxic dead marriages have been revived, healed, and restored to blissful unity. Family estrangements have gained healing. Those are glowing reports.

My experiences have also proved that it is possible to have peace in the presence of storms. Dissension has surrounded me where I had to reside, that is, relationships severed but I had to, for seasons, remain in the same physical places. I learned to go and glow in spite of it. That meant that heart disconnection happened before physical disconnection occurred. Immediate physical relief isn't always attainable. What can be attained, though, is a heart set to reject attempts to discourage joyous progression. Peace can be resident in the midst of toxic dramas. Determine to sing in the rain. Escape before you leave. Leave intact. Victories are choices that begin in our hearts.

Wisely consider relationship choices. Ponder and select what is reasonable, safe and responsible. Chances are some relationships can be “saved” while others should be categorized as permanent deaths. Let’s face it – all cannot be salvaged. The better we discern and understand the differences, the more liberated we shall be as whole beings on this great planet earth.

KING DOMINION

Spiritually, I'm in route to a period of personal consecration with our Lord.  One main purpose for it is to be more in His presence to discover what needs to be changed within me.

Recently, I asked our Lord something like, "What is the gospel of Your kingdom?"  One answer that He gave me is "King dominion - I AM the King and it is My dominion."  He further told me that His people need to focus on being about King dominion here on this, His earth.  I heard a pastor share that too many Christians are focused on "When we get to heaven, we'll have the victory."  He stated that we need to focus on having victories before we get to heaven.  Our purpose is to bring heaven to earth.  We don't need to wait.  We can have King dominion now!  The Holy Bible says in Matthew 6:10, "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." 

Last night I heard a pastor say, "Don't let the devil ride or he'll want to drive."  And I heard another pastor say that we are trained to reign and that we are to have supernatural dispositions.

Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.

Prayer:

Glorious Father GOD, thank You for the gospel of Your kingdom.  Please teach us, Lord, to do the desires of Your heart and that is to do kingdom living.
