DANCE OF FIRE

I wrote the content on this blog with sincere and holy intentions with the knowledge that I had at the time... We live, learn and amend...as errors are exposed and more truths are revealed...

Only GOD is perfect. It's vital that you seek the Lord to expose any errors that you've embraced. Please ask Him to expose any areas of darkness to you and for what is necessary to do to dispossess what's NOT of truth.

POETRY: DANCE OF FIRE

Flames of fire dance joyfully as dreams of fervor conjure up images of red hot passion for the gusto of life.

Sizzle, spark, explode -

Fireballs light up the sky. Wow! a thunder flash with a clap -

The flames are vivid with the awesome glow of orange colors blended with yellow highlights that accent the blaze.

This display is the bomb torched with a rocket plan. Such rapture has lit our fire. We are dynamite on this journey.

Come on fire, fall on us. Pour your liquid potency. Ignite our souls that we may be engulfed with magnified intensity.

Blow up our hearts. Dance with us....

Sandra

WATCH AND PRAY

Greetings -

Scriptures are from the King James Bible.

Luke 9:44
Let these sayings sink down into your ears:

Matthew 26:39
And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed,...

Psalm 63:1
O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee:...

1 Corinthians 14:25
...and so falling down on his face he will worship God,...

Romans 14:11
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Philippians 2:10
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,...

Luke 9:29
And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.

Ephesians 3:14
For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Luke 9:32
...and when they were awake, they saw his glory,...

WATCH AND PRAY

There is a prayer deficit.  Also, there is more prayer for requests to consume on lusts rather than prayers that yearn for the heart and desires of God. The effectual fervent prayers of the righteous avail much according to the Word of God in James 5:16.  Are we praying enough, and are we praying the right prayers?  Have our prayers become mundane and dry?  If so, why?  The Lord says that many of His people have left their first love – HIM.  Many have never known Him as first love but have treated Him as some sort of “lucky charm” which is an offense to who He is – God Almighty!

Prayers from the righteous are critical for us to thrive in godly endeavors.  The Word of God commands us to watch and pray.  We cannot know God without prayer and other means of daily intimacy with Him.  Our Father does not appreciate selfishly rushed, and dull prayers.  The Lord is holy and awesome.  We owe Him quality periods of regular devotion in postures of worship and adoration for the great God that He is.  One excellent biblical example is Daniel who prayed on his knees three times a day (Daniel 6:10) .

Our prayers are vitally necessary to bind and to loose.  Satan is in revolution mode because he knows that time for him is shorter.  Many Christians are talking about revival.  For such a time as this, revival is not enough!  We members of the body of Christ need to be about holy revolution because the mission of Satan is to destroy so that the gospel of God will not progress.  We have orders from our Lord to possess the land and to take the kingdom (Daniel 7).

Fervent prayers from the righteous can undue damage caused by Satan.  Prayer can prevent calamities, pull down strongholds, destroy the works of the devil, overthrow plans, change hearts, deliver souls, alert to danger, and bring the counsel of the heathen to nought.  Too much is happening on our watch because we are not watching!  Of a certainty, Satan and his people are watching and know that not enough of us are in watch formation.  That is why he has more leverage than he should.

God is not pleased with much of the lax conduct of some of His people.  We desire moves of God while He desires that we move to Him.  Prayers from the holy stir God to action.  Earnest prayers in righteousness bring sovereign results.

Prayer:

Lord, please help us to live holy lives, to pray holy prayers, and to be holy as You are holy - so says Your holy Word.

Thank You, Lord - Amen.

  1. I agree with everything you say, Sandra. I have to fight the tendency to experience ADD during prayer.

Thank you for visiting and commenting.

Yes,our minds do sometimes wander when we pray.
May we fight against that and strive, in earnest, to resist our wandering minds.

    Lord, help us, please.

  5. Great, inspiring words!

It's interesting that you and I were thinking about prayer. It's such a weapon, and I'm convinced that's why the devil tries so hard to keep us from it.

We must not be silenced though - not in our outward words and witness to the Lord's Good News - nor in our inner spirit where we convene with the Lord in holy conversation.

Prayer can move the heart of God, and it certainly moves our hearts closer to Him and His will.

    GOD BLESS!

  6. Hi Sharon -

What you stated is beautifully and truthfully expressed.

I wholly agree, Sharon - "It's such a weapon, and I'm convinced that's why the devil tries so hard to keep us from it."

Hearty Amens to "We must not be silenced though - not in our outward words and witness to the Lord's Good News - nor in our inner spirit where we convene with the Lord in holy conversation."

May our Lord help us to know how to move as close to Him as He desires...

  7. Sandra - Thank you for your input! I am always so uplifted and encouraged. I am convinced that the enemy is very active these days. I noticed that you had trouble with comments on my blog this morning. For a couple of hours, I couldn't even access my blog. That problem seems to have been resolved. Hopefully, the other issues will be, too.

God knows these things - and I continue to pray that He guides us to where and when and how He wants us to speak for Him.

    GOD BLESS, dear friend.

  8. Sandra, I love this! This is so true. Too many times we pray outside of God's will. When you look at the disciples we see that after they prayed they stepped out in faith that God was with them providing for all of their needs. What did they ask for? They asked to spread the gospel. They were beaten for what they proclaimed but that didn't stop them it only accelerated them forward into ministry.

What do we pray for? Comfort? A new job? Right relationships? I believe that these are selfish prayers. If we pray in alignment with God's heart then all that we need He will provide for us if it will be used to expand His word, the gospel. I do believe that God wants to give us good gifts but I also believe that He wants to provide for us when we spread His word to the lost.

It is funny how your spirit and mine connect on so many posts. I believe this is our God rounding up His people for the last battle.

    Blessings,

  9. Greetings -

Thank you for visiting and commenting.

    @Mari
Yes, you are so right. We do need "to recharge and pray fervently." And our steadfast aim needs to be about holiness.

You are certainly welcome, Mari. I appreciate your love for our Lord and His pure Word.

    @Child of GOD
I love this that you expressed, "They asked to spread the gospel." Glory to our Lord! No, they did NOT allow persecution to stop them. They obeyed GOD, regardless. How comforting to know that our GOD keeps us through it all when we walk uprightly before Him.

I wholly agree, Child of God, that we need to pray "in alignment with God's heart...."

Interesting, indeed, how our Lord connects us to advance His kingdom.

Blessings to you, as well, dear sister in Christ.
