POETRY: DANCE OF FIRE

Flames of fire dance joyfully as dreams of fervor conjure up images of red hot passion for the gusto of life.

Sizzle, spark, explode -

Fireballs light up the sky. Wow! a thunder flash with a clap -

The flames are vivid with the awesome glow of orange colors blended with yellow highlights that accent the blaze.

This display is the bomb torched with a rocket plan. Such rapture has lit our fire. We are dynamite on this journey.

Come on fire, fall on us. Pour your liquid potency. Ignite our souls that we may be engulfed with magnified intensity.

Blow up our hearts. Dance with us....

GOD'S WARFARE COUNSEL

The Lord God Almighty is forming a new “Warfare Counsel.” The said counsel will consist of hearty, valiant, military-minded soldiers of the Most High. The mission, should you decide to accept it, is to dismantle evil that has taken up residence in wicked people, to pull down the strongholds of the devil, to render him furious, envious, confused, baffled, and unprepared for the force of this new wave of holy warriors who are marching with holy orders to destroy the works of the devil in ways that have never been accomplished before. We shall, in the awareness from God, be mindful that all unbelievers will NOT take heed to the gospel truth but we SHALL gain those who are destined by Almighty God to reap of His liberties. God is sounding a clarion call for the best of His faithful servants to claim the ground on which we walk for God has given it to us.

Remember that all of the children of Israel left Egypt with Moses but all didn't enter the Promised Land. We are children of promise, and more than conquerors if we fear God, and keep His commandments. Let us allow our Father God to purge us so that we can be fit for our Master’s use. People are dying, and are dead in the spirit realm. Their allegiance is to Satan. Many are crying out to be rescued but they find it challenging to trust because they have been so often disappointed by ungodly people. And many of those ungodly people were, and are “Christians.”

We, of the “Warfare Counsel,” are appointed to prove to the unbelievers that our Almighty Father God can indeed be trusted. It is His power through us that will shake the foundations of the kingdom of Satan. We shall, through the power of God, pull people from the gates of hell because we know that the gates of hell cannot prevail against our ROCK, Christ Jesus!!! Father God, please endow us, equip us, certify us, justify us, defend us, and channel through us so that we can fearlessly battle the forces of evil as the valiant conquerors that You have anointed us to be!

God will use us to expose the false people who spread the doctrines of devils. We will call them out for who they are, and urge them to forsake sinful practices or receive the wrath of God in doses that will bring them to their knees or turn them further from Almighty God. They will either agree or flee. God will deal with the double-minded – choose life or death will be the command in clear undeniable ways. The Word of God says in 1 Kings 18:21, “And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him…” We know what happened to the prophets of Baal!

We'll minister to Ku Klux Klan members, Mafia participants, Muslims, those consumed by hatred of God, pimps, prostitutes, drug dealers, and witchcraft participants. And yes, we'll minister to those who are “religious,” who falsely believe that they are saved! We will minister to generals, captains, sergeants, and privates in Satan’s army. The love, and power of God in us will love the hell out of some of them! The Lord will dispatch His best military leaders, and servants of every rank, and class to wreak havoc in the kingdom of Satan. The Lord will topple his empires, shame his minions, tame his aggression, subdue mightily throughout his ranks, and deliver crushing blows of defeat to Satan’s wicked strongholds.

God is our fortress, our bulwark, a man of war (Exodus 15:3), and a consuming fire. He has been mocked, ridiculed, ignored and disrespected. Woe unto all who choose to remain His enemies.

A new day is dawning in the spirit realm - a day of vindication. IT IS HARVEST TIME FOR THE MOST FAITHFUL! God has destined this “hour” where more manifestations will appear to prove that there is a distinction between us, and those who follow the devil. Remember in the book of Exodus it says, “And I will put a division between my people and thy people: to morrow shall this sign be.” (Exodus 8:23) and the Word says, “…and when I see the blood, I will pass over you,…” (Exodus 12:13).

The days of business as usual have come to a halt. GOD's Word says, "Then Moses stood in the gate of the camps, and said, Who is on the Lord’s side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him." (Exodus 32:26).

The status quo journey is over. There is too much at stake. Souls are increasingly in danger of the lake of fire. Such souls dwell in misery, in distress, in sorrow, in pain, in fear, and in hopelessness. I call out for God’s Warfare Counsel.  The Spirit of the Living God lives inside of us. Due time has come to pour it out like rivers of living water to quench the thirst of the desperate, forlorn, and dejected. They hunger for the richness of Almighty God. We must, through Christ, deliver holiness to run through their veins as it does ours. We must march to the heartbeat of our DRUMMER, GOD!

We must abundantly share the Lamb of God by our allegiance to THE WORD. We are in God’s army. We cannot faint. We must lay aside every weight and remain close to the STOREHOUSE to obtain orders, and to reload our spiritual weapons. We must forge ahead and press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. We must zero in on our targets with precision, and we must fight against the ”demons of religion.” Jesus was crucified by the chief priests,…(Luke 24:20). That “spirit of religion” is, in large part, responsible for the many spiritual casualties of war.

The “religious prudes” bring shame to God’s name and the mission of the pure full gospel. They position themselves proudly on their “thrones” of self-righteousness. They go to churches with ungodly hearts, and transmit their ungodly contagious “spiritual diseases.” Persecution is administered to the saints who righteously resist those who are “spiritually diseased.” Heavy doses of such persecution are given out regularly in countless houses of worship! And some of those “Christian” Pharisees dare partake of Holy communion – the nerve! Religion is vain, and worthless if it does not glorify our Father God, and get His holy work done!

I have signed up with the Warfare Counsel. My blood-bought name is on that dotted line. I’m with the “sons of Levi.” (Exodus 32:26). We must stay mindful that, yes we are on a love mission, but love ain’t no wimp! That is why included in God’s Word we find stories about war, and the use of the rod such as when Jesus told Peter, “Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.” (Matthew 16:23), and righteous indignation as when Jesus turned over tables and seats in the temple (Mark 11:15-17), and mention of the whole armour (Ephesians 6). We would not need all of that if we were not at war! And the Word of God is “quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12). One great example of that is when Paul said to an unbeliever, “…O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? (The Acts 13:10).

Yet with all that occurred in the war realm, there is balance contained in the ways of God. Jesus sharply rebuked people - still the Bible says that he is “meek and lowly in heart” (Matthew 11:29). And with all that Moses did to oppose the evil Pharaoh, the Word states about him, “Now the man Moses was very meek, above all men which were upon the face of the earth. (Numbers 12:3). Pride is prevalent throughout our universe, and it dominates in the spirits of many “Christians.” It is a destructive force, as is all sin.

The anointing flows smoothly in pure vessels who are blameless, and above reproach. Yes, we all sin, and come short of God’s glory. But many sin, and come short on the regular as a habitual practice with deliberation in frequency. And far too many in that posture carry the name of “Christian.”

True warriors of God steadfastly submit to God to keep the power to resist the devil - and having done all – to stand!

STRATEGIC PLACEMENT IN THE ARMY IN THE ARMY OF GOD

NOTE: This post topic is not to describe any class of people as inferior or superior.  It uses rank placement relative to positions NOT people.

Deuteronomy 1:15 - KJV
So I took the chief of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and officers among your tribes.

Presented here below is a list of ranks in the natural army organization. Source: A Civilian’s Guide To The U.S. Military, by Barbara Schading, PH.D

Commissioned Officers from top to bottom rank as follows: general of the Army (five-star, wartime use only), general (four-star), lieutenant general (three-star), major general (two-star), brigadier general (one-star), colonel, lieutenant colonel, major, captain, first lieutenant, and second lieutenant

Warrant Officers rank, from top to bottom: chief warrant officer 5, chief warrant officer 4, chief warrant officer 3, chief warrant officer 2, and warrant officer

The enlisted personnel rank, from top to bottom: sergeant major of the Army, command sergeant major, sergeant major, first sergeant, master sergeant, sergeant first class, staff sergeant, sergeant, corporal, specialist, private first class, and private

Here is what the Lord shared with me. His army of people also consists of ranks and levels of expertise, and deepness in Him. Also, He reminded me that JESUS had twelve disciples but three of them, Peter, James and John were in His inner circle. Matthew 17:1, “And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain.” Matthew 17:9, “And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.” Mark 14:33, “And he taketh with him Peter and James and John,…” Luke 8:51, “And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John,…” Also, Peter and John were featured prominently in the book of The Acts such as in The Acts 3:1, 3:3, and 4:19. The Acts 12:2 states that James was killed. Peter wrote epistles. John wrote epistles and the book of Revelation. My belief is that John and Peter were spiritual generals. I believe the same about some others mentioned in GOD’s Word such as Moses, Elijah, Elisha, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Isaiah.

Generals cannot win wars without privates and privates cannot win wars without generals. Every rank is necessary and vital for military actions to be successfully executed. That is true for the natural military as well as it is true for the supernatural military. All ranks work together with boundaries and limitations designated for each. Typically, officer ranked military personnel do not frequently socialize with privates. They work together but are not often likely to fraternize. I believe that there could be a practice of unequal yoking if generals…frequently socialized with privates…, etc.

That brings me to the question as to whether Christians can be unequally yoked between and/or among other Christians. My conclusion is yes.

Again here, I use a military illustration. Privates have necessary war knowledge training at required levels. But we do not expect them to be in the “Situation Rooms” with generals and those of high commissioned ranks. The presence of privates would likely be counter-productive to the goals and objectives in such meetings. There are places where all DO get together but reasonably, there are other places where they do not.

There are commonalities to said logic relative to Christians. We have five-star general status Christians all the way down to the rank of private level status Christians. Can Christian generals…be unequally yoked with Christian privates…? I believe so. Again, I stress that every military position is vital. All personnel are critical to the missions. It bears repeating that the generals cannot win the wars without the privates, and the privates cannot win the wars without the generals. A quite suitable Bible reference is Romans 12:1, “So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.” But it is vital to our Lord’s warfare missions that every member occupy the positions established by GOD.

As in the natural army, there are, in the Christian army, common objectives for the overall good of the operations. The core ideal is to be on one accord for the established principles and goals of the institution. But the institution breaks down into specializations that are critical for purpose fulfillment in the army organization.

The natural army has Special Forces such as Rangers and Green Berets. They engage in specialized unconventional warfare. In the supernatural army, there are Special Forces, as well.

Privates do not understand the work of those in Special Forces. They do not know the unique intricate, complex, strategic, and dangerous exploits that comprise what Special Forces personnel are assigned to execute.

There are Christians who do bare minimum – who attend church but do not know the Holy Bible and subsequently do not do it – who do not spend regular quality time in private devotions with GOD – and who do not engage in regular praise, worship and prayer. They are to be loved but would you want such with you in intense spiritual battlefield combat zones? Intense supernatural warfare is for the steadfastly fully armored. Are dim lit Christians considered privates? God knows.

Then there are Christians who are consistently hungry for more of GOD – who know the Holy Bible and who consistently do what it says – who regularly love/obey GOD and pray, praise and worship Him privately, as well as along with others in the body of Christ. Such have souls that follow hard after GOD (Psalm 63:8). Are these generals, colonels, majors, and captains…for GOD? Are such of Special Forces caliber? Of course, our Lord knows the position/roles of us all, and He shares with His saints (those willing to yield to Him…) what our roles are. 1 John 5:9, “If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater:…”

GOD commands us to love everybody but I do not believe that He expects us to spend unnecessary time with Christians who refuse to grow in the Lord. (Note: That does not include spouses because GOD has unique mandates for matrimonial unions whatever the spiritual status of the spouses. Also, the biological family dynamic often requires more engagement.)

And baby Christians need more from those who are more spiritually mature. But the carnal Christians can often be counter-productive to holy Christ-centered journeys. They can prove more damaging than bona fide sinners because bona fide sinners frequently do not know…but carnal Christians frequently do know…yet make decisions not to do what they know. Also, what carnal Christians know is limited because they refuse to obey GOD by renewing their minds with the Holy Scriptures, and by spending quality time with Him. I am confident that all of the carnal Christians will not remain unspiritual because some of them will become fervent for the Lord. In the meantime, my advice is to beware of them because again, they can be more damaging…than bona fide sinners. Typically, we expect evil from sinners while we usually don’t expect evil from professed Christians but the reality is that that is precisely what we get from unspiritual Christians. Carnal Christians are often wolves in sheep clothing. They profess Christianity but can be toting evil and catch people unaware and unprepared for what they are “packing.” Often before carnal Christians are discovered for the unspiritual people that they are, many wounded victims have become “bloodied” from their damaging and vile practices.

We are at war, people, and whosoever mocks GOD risks becoming casualties of war. GOD is no respecter of persons. Colossians 3:25 states, “But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.”

Do some Christians die in battle? Yes, but hallelujah – Glory be to GOD, Romans 14:8 says, “For whether we live, we live unto the Lord: and whether we die, we die unto the Lord, whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.”

Who will be instrumental in turning the world upside down? The Acts 17:6, “…These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;”

Matthew 28:9
…Jesus met them, saying, All hail

WARRIOR DECREES

Warriors, Warriors - God’s recruits
This is not a physical fight
This is a spiritual fight -
A fight for souls - This is a soul fight

Ready – Aim – Fire – Arsenals - Weapons
Maps - Commands – Missives - Explosives
All in the spirit realm

It is massive deployment -
A recruitment of some of
the bravest, keenest,
fiercely faithful soldiers
as has ever been united.

The rehearsal is over -
Man the battle stations
and shoot spiritual bullets -
Positioned ammunition that is ablaze
in the hands of those with vigor, and bravery -
Sharp-shooters with amazing aim
to accomplish bulls-eyes
in the power of Almighty God.

This transcends any battle
that has been fought before.
It will develop in proportions
unequaled in the annals of history.

This is a destined engagement
where life, and death hang in the balance
in a scope and dimension that is unparalleled.

No, Devil, God’s warriors are not afraid of you
In fact, God ordains that you will fear who he will send -
those who stand at the ready
to execute victories with precision
to nullify your attempts to destroy God’s people -
warriors to pull down your strongholds,
destroy your yokes, topple your dominion,
and overthrow your kingdom
in the name of Jesus Christ, the Lion of
the tribe of Juda who prevails!

You ain’t going to win, Devil,
and you know this - many of your people don’t know
because you have deceived them
but God shall deliver people from your vileness -

They are going to forsake you, Devil,
because God is going to impart to them
truth, knowledge, and wisdom, which will
bring them freedom from your
vicious and treacherous grip.

Satan, the infusion of God’s power in His warriors
will leave you frustrated, afraid, befuddled, and
astonished at this new wave of
undaunted, visionary, unflappable Christians
who shall approach battles with fervent certainty
to undo your wicked machinations.

“Warriors, Warriors” -
God has resounded with a clarion call
for awe-producing actions - -

Shall we waver, quiver, tremble or faint ? – no
Shall we conquer, topple, and defeat the Enemy? – yes

Devil, you sent out a call
for engagement with your enemy forces.
You have assembled your best
to defy God and His vigilant army -
You declared war…We accept your challenge -

We commence with the banner of love,
converge with the blood of Jesus,
we march with the faith of our God,
and the courage of His convictions.

We are arrayed in the full armor of Godk
knowing whose we are, and whom we serve
and that in Him
we live, and move, and have our being.

We will shake you off, and feel no harm
because greater is He that is in us
than he that is in the world -

We are fully persuaded that
we are more than conquerors
through Him that loves us.

We have been endowed with
a fresh awareness of our status in God
We are heirs, joint-heirs with Christ
precious, peculiar,
and blood-bought children of the
only everlasting God.

For we know Him,
for we are from Him
and He hath sent us.
We know the power
of His resurrection,
and the fellowship of His sufferings -

We know that
the Word of God is quick, and powerful
and sharper than any two-edged sword.
We purpose to use every spiritual weapon
that our Father God puts at our disposal
to conquer your deceptive powers
in the souls of those
who are predestinated people of God.

No, devil, you ain’t going to win!

WHAT TO FEED THE DEVIL

For those who need to, unsheathe your rusty swords, people. We need to keep them maintained, and at the ready. It is not enough to possess the sword of the Spirit. It is to be used in precise measures. Keep it exercised in union with the whole armour of God. The devil skillfully uses words, and actions to attack us. We are to expertly counter his words and deeds with more skillful usage of the Word of God with signs following. Our distinction is that when we please God, our words are delivered with a force of power that the devil cannot conquer. We are more than conquerors through Him that loves us. There is no way that Satan can overthrow children of God who are in the perfect will of our Father.

Remember that the devil quoted scripture to Jesus. Jesus responded to Satan with scriptures. (Matthew 4). The awesome difference was that Jesus, with his uttered scriptures, had the incomparable benefit of the force, and power of our Father God. Jesus fed the devil what the devil ate with contempt for what was from the menu but he had no choice but to digest it. Satan had nothing delectable on that front.

Holy Christians always have the advantage – always. The devil talks trash because he is trash. Who are we? What does the word of God say? In 1 Peter 2:9, it says, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:.” We are who God says that we are. We need to act like we know this pure truth with proof evident that we have embraced that profound awareness imparted to us by God. How has God positioned us? We shall cleave to the revelation of righteousness.

We do not owe any allegiance to Satan. We need to operate with absolute certainty that we are kept by Almighty God who is completely fearless in the face of the devil. Our role is to be living, walking examples of the identity of God – as we are created in His image. He abides in us – our charge is to prove to Satan that we know whose we are, and who we serve. God is working with us to confirm His word with signs following (Mark 16:20).

Dry bones live (Ezekiel 37). God is going to resuscitate “living” dead, faint-hearted, shame-faced, and unprofitable Christians. Some will re-enlist just as Peter did. Peter converted, and became a major menace to the domain of the devil. God’s word says about Peter, “…and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” (Luke 22:32). A revitalized army is being formed with potent Jesus energy in portions that will be in the overflow. God is not excited about propped-up, mealy-mouthed, going with the masses people. God’s Word says, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:” (Matthew 7:13). Our Lord has delight in solid soldiers who stand up, speak with power, and manifest that the only flow that has power is flow comprised of continual obedience to God.

Are we feeding the devil bones or the meat of God’s truth? Spiritually, are we lean or robust in what we daily ingest? Spiritually, are we sound in our nutritious consumption and disgestion? Are we sufficiently weighing our choices, and unloading unnecessary calorie content? Who are we dining with, and why? Are we there to present Jesus or to embrace an agenda that is of the devil? What do we swallow – truth or the doctrines of devils? Are we replete with appetizers but low on main courses? Are we into dips or going whole hog for God?

Prayer: Blessed Father God, please feed us with spiritual sustenance to keep us rooted and grounded in Your love with grace and truth multiplied. Let the peace of God rule in our hearts as we follow after righteousness equipped to do effective battle against the dominion of the devil. Help us to tear down his strongholds, destroy his works, and recruit his soldiers. Let us make them aware with Your living proofs that they are fighting on the side that will not win. Expose to them that the devil does not love them, but that You do. Provide us the counsel that we need to feed the devil hefty portions of Your Word, obedience, and praise to You, with fervent loyalty to Your causes. Lord, we need You – we cannot do this without You. Teach us, O Righteous Father, and King of saints, how to continually bring You joy, pleasure, and delight. And let us do as You instructed, “Feed my sheep.” (John 21:16).

HOLY WARRIORS

Warriors with no wars are like –

Hearts with no beats

Smoke with no fires

Eagles with no wings

Lions with no roars

Sheep with no shepherds

Nurses with no patients

Teachers with no students

Speakers with no impact

Singers with no songs

Dancers with no steps

Supernatural holy warriors must be steadfastly combat ready and in battle formation for we do not always know what is approaching or what evil forces are in action that aim to devour. In the matter of natural military matters, even in peace time, soldiers go to boot camp, train in many disciplines, learn to shoot with precision, execute simulated military and combat exercises. They learn strategic positioning, intelligence/counter intelligence, covert operations, infiltration, ambush techniques and a host of other vital skills.

What would happen if those in the natural military waited until war time to prepare and train? They would not be combat ready. Unprepared, they would be on suicide missions, for sure! They need to be ready in peace time for the real possibilities of war! We know that though some have never served in war time, the peace time preparation and training is not in vain.

Supernaturally, the stakes are higher – souls are on the line – ours, and those who have not yet received our Lord Christ. We need battle practice and real wars for us to be cleansed, fine-tuned, chiseled, pruned, purged and toughened. Remember the 300 brave valiant men of the army with Gideon. Hebrews 12:27 states, “…that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.”

Enemies of GOD are strategically positioned by GOD to be used to present His glory and proof of His most high status. Pharaoh was a vessel fitted to destruction (Romans 9). GOD states, “For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.” That Exodus account was so awesomely effective that generations later people, even bona fide sinners, discuss it. It did precisely what GOD said it would do – kept His name in the news!!! We need our enemies – otherwise we would be without resources to sharpen us to be victorious for GOD. Imagine if we had no enemies?! We would be spiritually flabby, lazy, and largely unprofitable. Enemies are necessary to motivate us to follow GOD and thus attain higher spiritual levels with the ultimate goal to advance the kingdom of GOD. Also, our enemies need us to demonstrate the characteristics of GOD so that they will know to choose life.

GOD is our Commander-in-Chief and He is provoked to wrath by the rag tag AWOL “Christians” who cower and have elected to be pansies in a world where revolutionary spiritual exercises are the order of this day. The renegade deserters are a sure shame to the mission of the full gospel. We must love them and pray, in earnest, for their restoration, though it is biblically sound that not all will repent.

March onward holy warriors of GOD, and in the name of Jesus – go forth to love the hell out of people. Seek from GOD methods to vanquish the forces of darkness – to subdue, to besiege, to overthrow, to ambush, to outwit, and to tear down demonic strongholds - all with fervent missions to destroy the works of the Devil. Jude 9 states of the devil, “…The Lord rebuke thee.”

Our Lord is calling forth warriors who have embraced these words and others from the Word of GOD:

The Acts 20:24
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

GIRD UP THE LOINS – 1 PETER 1:13 - KJV

Christians need to abandon the denominational emphasis that is so prevalent.  There is nothing in the Word of God that supports denomination.  In the book of The Acts, God’s people are called Christians.  In the Old Testament they were called righteous men and women of God.  Abraham was called a friend of God.  There is also mention of prophets, prophetesses, disciples, apostles, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and priests.  There was John the Baptist but nothing that mentions a group called Baptists.  Contrary to anything in God’s Word, there are now Catholics, Lutherans, Methodists, Baptists, Episcopalians, African Methodists, Protestants, Latter Day Saints  - the list goes on.

We have labels, titles, appointments, positions, and  - abysmal records of the flow of LOVE relative to all of those “Christian” groups.  Often, the groups criticize each other.  There is competition, rivalry, dissension, and self-righteousness in plentiful supply.  People need to forsake the denominational nonsense and be good Samaritans – that is in God’s Holy Bible.  The Levi and the priest passed by on the other side.  The Samaritan did the noble, and righteous thing – demonstrated the love of God. (Luke 10).  The real deal is that God is a Spirit Who seeks true worshippers.  They that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. (Gospel of John 4). Thank God, that there are a remnant of righteous true Christians who firmly and steadfastly embrace the truth of Christian duty.  Fear God and keep His commandments – this is the whole duty of man (Ecclesiastes 12:13).  God mandates that we love.  O, where is the love?

Ideally, we should be on one accord as stated in The Acts 1,2, 4, and 8.  Also, in the book of The Acts it says, “Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them , and brought the prices of the things that were sold.  And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.  Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.” (The Acts 4: 34, 35, and 37).  Philippians 2:2 says, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.  And we are instructed to have the mind of Christ. (I Corinthians 2:16).  How many Christians can affirm that what is contained in this paragraph is typical relative to experiences in today’s body of Christ?

Some believe that God’s heavenly language, speaking in tongues, is not of God.  It is in the Bible in I Corinthians 14.  The heavenly language when used with holy living allows more of God’s power to flow in ways that it does not flow in the realm of those who refuse to accept, and use it.  Speaking in tongues is a vital weapon against the forces of evil.

People, the Lord is warning us now that there is warfare ahead for us that will shake Christians whose houses are built on sand. (Matthew 7).  We will need the fullness of everything God offers to fight warfare on more intense levels.  And according to His Word, He offers speaking in tongues, and all of the positions shown in the Holy Bible – apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers.  Some believe that the office of the apostle is no longer relevant.  There is belief that there were only the twelve apostles, and Paul.  What about the one who replaced Judas?  What about what it says in I Corinthians 12 and Ephesians 4?  Every office addressed in those chapters is relevant now!

The church is not, in large part, operating in wholeness because too many resist the full gospel, and refuse to demonstrate love.  It is vital to seek it, learn it, know it, and do it.  People often select what they will practice in adherence.  Some operate in ignorance while others deliberately reject the whole truth.   For some, pride is a hindrance to acceptance that what they have believed for so long is wrong.  They would rather continue in deception than admit that they hold false beliefs.  The best, and wise actions are to seek God for evidence of what is and what is not truth.  Some do not do that because they really do not want to know.  It is easier for them to remain ignorant – to be in that position can allow them certain “freedoms.”

People, God loves us and urges us to take heed to His warnings.  He knows what lies ahead, and we cannot get ready when the calamities arrive.  We need to stay ready because we do not know when the storms will come or in what manner.  Satan is rabid for souls.  His aim is to devour whosoever.  Remember it was not raining when Noah built the ark.  But when it did rain, Noah and his family were safely enclosed in the ark of safety – and the Lord shut him in (Genesis 7:16).

The Lord has shown me that lots of His people have taken Him for granted, and as a result, He does not receive the reverence that He rightly deserves.  This grieves Him and soon, He will allow circumstances in many lives to shake the complacency and lukewarmness that has a stronghold on His body.  This notice is to warn to gird up loins, and to return to God as first love.

GUARD YOUR ANOINTING

What is the most valuable aspect of Christianity?  The most value is found in the anointing of God with the presence of Jesus, and the power of the Holy Spirit as an active participant in our daily lives.  How do we maintain the power that God expects to stay resident in us in fullness?  We retain, and maintain by continual obedience to what God imparts to us to think, to speak, to do, and to be for His glory.  Our Lord has no pleasure in sharing His stage with other gods.  His word states that he will not give his glory to another (Isaiah 42:8).  God is the Most High, and that is the position that He expects to hold in our entire being.  It is in Him that we are to live, and move, and have our being (The Acts 17:28).

The word of God commands us to keep our hearts with all diligence (Proverbs 4:23).  His anointing is in our hearts so we are also to guard our anointing. The anointing flows in vessels of honor.  The anointing is at the best when we conform to God’s full gospel.  When we allow other gods to occupy space in our hearts, the anointing is quenched because God abides faithful – he cannot deny Himself (2 Timothy 2:13).  He will not become a God of dishonor to appease our fleshly desires.  Our Father urges us to be profitable in service for Him.  The ways to be profitable are to be continually obedient to His perfect will.

What are we habitually thinking, saying, and doing? GOD’S WORD says, “…brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report;…think on these  things.” (Philippians 4:8).  Are we thinking, talking, and behaving like the world?  Is there an obvious distinction in our conduct versus the conduct of the world?  Who are we spending the bulk of our social time with? GOD’S WORD says, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.  If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” (1 John 2:15).  AGAIN, GOD’S WORD, “…whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” (James 4:4).

We have an abundance of feather weight, bantam weight, and light weight Christians. We need more heavy weight Christians who are steadfast in readiness to overthrow the works of the Devil. That can only be accomplished through Christians whose continual aim is to draw nigh to God to obtain battle instructions, and help from the only SOURCE who can equip us to deliver knockout blows to the dominion of Satan. The Devil has too many Christians on the ropes! And God allows it because church folk, in large numbers, hold allegiances to the causes of the Devil. God cannot dignify such conduct with His precious power. That is why He reserves such power for the heavy weights.

God has given His people a charge to deliver a living gospel to a dying world. How can He do that with a dying dry bones church? Thank God for the remnant of His people who are leading, obeying, and fighting the Devil vigorously. But the church, as a whole, is dying on the vine. While some are dying, others are dead. Many professing Christians do not pray daily or spend time in the word of God daily. And many are resistant to continually being doers of God’s perfect will. Numerous professing Christians do not study the Bible, and cannot quote it extensively from memory. We cannot be intimate with God to receive vital knowledge, wisdom, discernment, and power unless we devote daily time to His agenda which is the full gospel! The world longs for deliverance but they constantly are exposed to Christians who themselves have not been delivered. What is the world to do? We cannot continue with church business as usual if church actions are contrary to the expression, and demonstration of God’s full gospel. Judgment must begin at the house of God. (1 Peter 4:17).

Love is the first fruit of the Spirit listed in Galatians 5:22 followed by joy.  How much do we observe those fruits being exercised by professing Christians?  There is an emphasis on prosperity, blessings, and the spiritual gifts in operation.  Some chase the spiritually spectacular, and reject the foundation of Christianity – love.  GOD’S WORD says, “…and have not charity, I am nothing.” (I Corinthians 13:2).  “And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. (2 Peter 1: 7).  “For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 1:8).

May God help us all!

MEXICO NEWS

Today I read online (AP report dated 12/20/2010) this headline, "Mexican ex-candidate freed by kidnappers"

The article went on to state that Diego Fernandez de Cevallos was freed after seven months.  He said, "As far as the kidnappers are concerned, as a man of faith, I have forgiven (them)", he said, looking fit..."

Reading that article today prompted me to re-post today, Monday December 20, 2010, excerpts from postings that I began on Mexico on August 31, 2010.  Those excerpts are posted below.  For quick reading, note, in particular the scripture content that is in italics, as well as what is highlighted in green and yellow.

Topic – “STANDING IN THE GAP FOR MEXICO” - Originally posted on August 31, 2010:

Greetings -

Ezekiel 22:30
And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land,...

To our Lord God about the matter of Mexico:

Father, thank you that today you led me to read Ezekiel chapter 7 and later You had me to read an article dated today on www.cnn.com about the capture yesterday of Edgar Valdez Villarreal. Mexico spokesman, Alejandro Poire had this to say about Valdez, “The capture of Valdez is a high-impact blow against organized crime.” This is an important step in the national security strategy.”

What was in that published CNN article posted today confirms what you revealed to me today from Ezekiel 7 in reference to Mexico….

Prayer:

Almighty Father GOD, in the name of JESUS, we are Word people who are NOT afraid of the Devil. Please, Lord, reveal how to root out, how to pull down strongholds, and how to destroy works of evil in Mexico. You, Lord, are greater than all. Provide, please, the holy strategic means to wreak havoc on the kingdom of darkness that has overtaken Mexico. Appoint holy warriors to operate supernaturally to dismantle, and subdue the forces of wickedness. Expose, dear Lord, corruption. Save the souls of the leaders of these evil entities. Save also, please, the followers. Let Your love be poured upon their anguished souls. Deliver them from their bondages and lead them in Your everlasting ways.

I sound a call, not for revival in Mexico, but for holy revolution. They need radical change, dear Lord. Send forth Holy Ghost filled, anointed holy revolutionaries to manifest Your love, truth, compassion, forgiveness, grace and faith. Draw by Your glorious Holy Spirit the worst of the worst and the lowest of the low and those in-between…. Prove to them through Your awesome love, and signs and wonders that You alone are GOD!

Please remind us to pray, pray, pray for Mexico - thank You, Lord – Amen

I decree here Father, on the record, that You will do works in Mexico that will create news of a holy supernatural sort, and plus some…because You are a GOD who does bountifully.

I put on record here Your Word as the authority that what is stated here shall come to pass, in the name of JESUS - - Thank You, JESUS, that Thou art the CHRIST.

Greetings -

This is an update on the "STANDING IN THE GAP FOR MEXICO" post that I placed here on TUESDAY AUGUST 31, 2010.

As mentioned there, the Lord gave me, among other things, Ezekiel 7 relative to Mexico. This a.m., He instructed me to post specific relevant scriptures from Ezekiel 7 about the Mexico matter. I will include those subject scriptures in this post but first I will note, in part, what I found this a.m. on www.cnn.com. That is:

"Mexican shootout leaves 25 drug suspects dead"

(Source: CNN.com dtd today Friday September 3, 2010)

"A shootout between soldiers and suspected drug dealers in northeast Mexico left 25 of the suspects dead, the regional military said Thursday."

"After the fighting ended, soldiers captured a cache of weaponry including 25 rifles, four .40 caliber grenades, 4,200 cartridges of different calibers, 532 magazines...and 23 vehicles."

The soldiers also freed three hostages....

In my Tuesday post, these words appear, "I decree here Father, on the record, that You will do works in Mexico that will create news of a holy supernatural sort, and plus some...because You are a GOD who does bountifully."

I put on record here Your Word as the authority that what is stated here shall come to pass, in the name of JESUS --..."

Also, as mentioned on Tuesday's post, the Lord gave me Ezekiel 7 relative to the Mexico issue. Here is what He gave me today relative to specific scriptures to post from Ezekiel 7:

Ezekiel 7:3
Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.

Ezekiel 7:8
Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.

Ezekiel 7:12
The time is come, the day draweth near:...

Ezekiel 7:25
Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.

The above cited scriptures confirm what the Lord spoke Tuesday on this post as per what was published on CNN.com today.

More to come as our Lord performs His Word.....

In DEED, "STANDING IN THE GAP..."

Topic – “MORE MEXICO NEWS” – Originally posted September 7, 2010

"Six of the suspected gunmen responsible for the killings of 72 migrants in Mexico have been identified, Mexican authorities said Monday,..."

"However, all of the suspects are dead,..."

Sandra's comment:

The above news is more confirmation.

FIRST (BIBLE VERSION) RE-POST - TOPIC, "MY EXPERIENCES WITH THE ORIGINAL KING JAMES BIBLE" - ORIGINAL POST DATE ON LIONS SHARE MAJESTY BLOG - SUNDAY DECEMBER 12, 2010:

Hi -

Update: May 8, 2014

Okay, until just days ago, I was, for the most part, a die-hard KJV Bible reader -- NOT the new KJV . . . and NOT even the 1611 KJV, but one of the KJV's that came AFTER 1611.

That was until I read a post that someone in this group shared. I read the subject post and it sure enlightened me relative to some things about the KJV Bible.

After reading that article (link below), I downloaded a Geneva Bible and a Tyndale Bible. The Geneva Bible was before the 1611 KJV. It was done in 1560 and the Tyndale Bible was done before that. The Tyndale Bible was done in about 1534. Tyndale finished the NT before he was martyred for his holy beliefs. And he finished some portions of the OT before he was killed.

I've been reading from the Geneva and Tyndale Bibles and am glad to now be aware of them. The older English is NOT a problem for me. I do tend to use my other KJV Bible side by side in case I need to compare or to get a better understanding of the older English used in the earlier versions.

###

This morning I learned more about the NIV Bible. It removed the following scriptures: Matthew 18:11, Matthew 23:14, Mark 7:16, Mark 9:44, 46, Mark 11:26, Mark 15:28, Luke 17:36, Luke 23:17, John 5:4, Acts 8:37, Acts 15:34, Acts 24:7, Romans 16:24.

It may have removed more ENTIRE scriptures . . .

Prior to update:

Greetings -

This a.m. the Lord led me to do some Bible translation/version research.  I found the following:

Source: http://www.av1611.com/

"Virginia Mullenkott served as a consultant on the NIV translating committee, together with the deceased Marten H. Woudstra (a homosexual), and therefore it is no wonder that the word "sodomite" is not found in the NIV."

In research, I read that, according to Virginia Mullenkott, she was not an open lesbian when she worked with the NIV.  Currently, she is an open lesbian.

I googled Virginia Mullenkott and found on http://www.wikipedia.com/:

"...She is...an active member of Christian Lesbians OUT.  She served as a stylistic consultant for the New International Version of the Bible.  Mullenkott is an open lesbian..."

Chairman of the NIV Old Testament translation committee, Dr. Marten H. Woudstra (deceased), was a homosexual.

www.jesus-is-lord.com/nivhomo.htm

http://www.av1611.com/:
On home page, on top left of screen, click on "King James Bible Page" - once there, on right of screen, click on "Bible Version Comparison Charts."

The charts are:

1. Westcott and Horts Magic Marker Binge
2. Various contradictions and omissions
3. Bible versions and the preeminence of Christ

http://www.jesus-is-lord.com/:
On home page, on left of screen, a bit past the half mark down the screen, click on "The Bible" - from there scroll down to "New International Version (NIV)" and notice such headings as:

- NIV publisher (Zondervan) is owned by people who publish The Satanic Bible.

- Which Bible verses did the NIV delete? (The Jehovah's Witness "Bible" deletes the EXACT same ones. All of them)

- NIV perverts even the tone of the word of GOD (e-mail from a former NIV reader)

- NIV Old Testament Chairman, Dr. Marten Woudstra, a Sodomite Homosexual

- Former NIV reader says NIV alienates the Father and the Son.

(The former NIV reader stated, "Sure, I got saved by the NIV, but it made Jesus a little bit distant from the Father.")

Also, on that subject http://www.jesus-is-lord.com/ page, there are other Bible translation headings.

I am not a gullible person who believes all that I read or hear.  As our Lord's Spirit leads, it is wise to seek the Lord, pray, read, hear, and seek the Lord, and pray some more.  Only our Lord can lead us to the fullness of truth.

Before proceeding here, I need to clarify that I'm not urging anyone to change the version of the Bible that you read unless, of course, you seek the Lord, and He instructs you to do so.  These are my experiences which I felt led of the Lord to share.

As were many other Christians, I was raised with the original King James Bible.  Also later, as did other Christians, I began to read other Bible versions.  A few years ago, The Amplified Bible is the one that I mostly used until one day the Lord spoke to me and told me to mostly use the original King James Bible.  I began to do so.

After some weeks, I noticed that I had become more potent and powerful in the Lord.  I didn't attribute that to the change in Bible versions until I moved to Florida and met a pastor who uses an original King James Bible.  I asked him why he read that version.  He responded that it was the most potent and powerful version.  That is when I knew that that was why I had become more potent and powerful in the Lord.  Of course, I know that obedience to the content is vital.

Also, the original King James Bible is easier to memorize and it has more rhythm.  I have a relative who mostly uses the New King James Bible but when she reads the Psalms, for rhythmic reasons, she reads them in the original King James Bible.

Some people express that they cannot understand/follow the archaic language in the original King James Bible.  A few years ago I read where a five-year-old child testified of her preference for the original King James Bible.  Whatever I don't understand in the original King James Bible, I pray for the Lord to help me to know.  In fact, daily before I open my Bible, I pray for understanding - trusting that the Lord will illuminate what He needs to when and how He desires.

One Christian friend of mine (I'll call her Debbie) was advised by another Christian to stop reading the NIV version.  I didn't know that when I shared with Debbie how the Lord had led me away from the NIV and the Amplified versions.  She mentioned to me that I was the second Christian who had mentioned to her doubts about the NIV.  Another Christian friend of mine (I'll call her Kate) stated that her pastor uses the New King James Version and that she used that version to follow him.  I shared with Kate what the Lord informed me, and asked her if she was more concerned about following what her pastor used or what our Lord instructed.  I didn't advise Debbie or Kate to forsake their versions.  I asked them to seek the Lord about it.

Well, weeks later Debbie stated that she had started solely reading the original King James Bible.  She mentioned that one day a non-Christian client asked her what had happened to her because she sounded more confident in tone.  The only thing that Debbie could attribute her change to was that she now solely read the original King James Bible.  A non-Christian noticed that Debbie had become more potent in tone.

As for Kate - first I must state that Kate is very firm about seeking the Lord.  When we advise and inform one another, we both crave "Where is that in the Bible" and while we listen to one another, we firmly adhere to seeking the Lord in prayer for final words.  Weeks after we had the Bible version conversation, Kate informed me that one day she was in a Christian bookstore and her hand was "drawn" to select from the shelf an original King James Bible.  She knew that it was the Lord who led her to purchase it.  Later, she too expressed to me the potency of it versus the New King James Bible.  She further stated that though her pastor uses the New King James she has no problems following him using the original King James Bible.

I read where other Christians stated that the development of all of these Bible versions is profit driven.  Also, that Satan waters down content in some of the versions because he knows that to omit certain words and scriptures means less potency and power for those who read the diluted versions.  Another pastor mentioned how people have all of these Bible versions and don't read and obey any of them.  Some of this information caused me to think.  Years ago, most Christians used the only Bible version that was primarily available - the original King James Bible.  My take is that biblically they had less to choose from but in many cases, they were/are stronger Christians than some are today.

I was led to do some research relative to some of the different versions available.  What I discovered was that it is true that some other versions omit entire scriptures, and also they omit and/or change wording that is in the original King James.  Some have argued that even the original King James Version is not original Bible text.  That is likely true but of the other versions that I have read, the original King James is the best of the English versions that are available.

There is a very convincing comparison chart on the Internet that shows some glaring differences in various version content.  After reading that chart, I'm more convinced about how the Lord led me relative to primary usage of the original King James.  I must add that, on rare occasions, as led by the Lord, I do refer to the Amplified, and my study Bible for commentary purposes.

Ref - The commentary in Bibles:
I was heavily into reading commentaries until, in Florida, a pastor stated to be mindful about accepting commentaries as gospel truth.  And when I moved back to D.C. and took a Bible course, the teachers stressed to receive from the Holy Spirit before reading commentaries.  And lastly, a fellow blogger, who was once an atheist expressed that commentaries are not necessarily gospel truth.  Now I refer to Bible commentaries only as led by the Lord, which is rarely.

Notes:

Am I saying that to be a potent Christian, you must read the original King James Bible?  No, these are my experiences and the experiences of people that I know.  Full obedience to GOD to the best of our knowledge is the answer for spiritual fulfillment.

When I watch Christian programming, I do have a preference for the bishops and pastors who use the original King James Bible.  One pastor, reads first from the original King James Bible and then he reads the same passage(s) from the Amplified Bible.  Of course, my spirit needs to bear witness that they are true people of GOD.  We know that Satan knows the Bible but does not obey it therefore our spirits do not bear witness to any holy anointed power from him for he does not possess any form of holy power.

At church, I read from the original King James Bible no matter what version is used by the pastor(s) or guest speaker(s).

I am an editor and recently edited a book by a Christian who uses the NIV.  I did not urge her to use the original King James Bible because that is not my role as an editor.

Without love, we are nothing - regardless of our Bible usage - whatever the version(s).

In sum, I strongly urge that you seek the Lord as to whether to change the usage of your Bible version(s).

Thank you for your indulgence.

Love,
Sandra

SECOND RE-POST - ORIGINAL POST DATE - SUNDAY DECEMBER 12, 2010

Greetings -

Here are just three examples of what I found on the comparison chart that I provided the link to on my earlier post on this matter.

(I did not simply read what the chart cited - I looked the information up in the actual cited Bible translations.)

Matthew 18:11 - KJV
For the son of man is come to save that which was lost.

Mathew 18:11 - NIV
That scripture is omitted entirely. In my Comparative Study Bible, the NIV goes from verse 10 to verse 12. Verse 11 is not there!  That bothers me.

Matthew 9:13 - KJV
...for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Matthew 9:13 - NIV
For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners. "to repentance" is omitted.

Colossians 1:14 - KJV
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.

Colossians 1:14 - NIV
In whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. "through his blood" is omitted.  That really bothers me.

The comparison charts that I cited have numerous such examples.

THIRD RE-POST - ORIGINAL POST DATE - THURSDAY DECEMBER 16, 2010:

Greetings -

Here are instances where Jesus, God and the Spirit have been removed:

Matthew 25:13 - KJV
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Matthew 25:13 - NIV
Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
(Note: They removed "Son of man" which equals - they removed Christ.)

Luke 4:4 - KJV
...That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Luke 4:4 - NIV
...Man does not live on bread alone.
(Note: They removed "God.")

John 6:47 - KJV
...He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

John 6:47 - NIV
I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life.
(Note: There is no mention of "on me." How is that telling us the truth if they leave out "on me?"  To remove "on me" is to remove Christ.)

The Acts 2:30 - KJV
...according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

The Acts 2:30 - NIV
But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne.  (Note: They removed "Christ.")

The Acts 8:37 - KJV
...I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

The Acts 8:37 - NIV
(Note: They removed Christ - and the entire verse.  The NIV does not have verse 37 - at all.)

The Acts 23:9 - KJV
...let us not fight against God.

The Acts 23:9 - NIV
(Note: They removed "God." That statement "let us not fight against God" has been removed.)

1 Peter 1:22 - KJV
...through the Spirit..

1 Peter 1:22 - NIV
(Note: They removed "the Spirit.")

Revelation 20:9 - KJV
...fire came down from God...

Revelation 20:9 - NIV
fire came down from heaven...
(Note: They removed "God.")

Revelation 5:14 - KJV
... and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

Revelation 5:14 - NIV
...and the elders fell down and worshipped.
(Note: They removed "him..." - which equals - they removed Christ.)

1 John 4:3 - KJV
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God:

1 John 4:3 - NIV
but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God.
(Note: They removed "that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not "of" God. - The KJV says that EVERY spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God."  The NIV removed "is come in the flesh" - does that mean that they are one of the EVERY spirit?)  Also in that scripture, the NIV mentions "Jesus" but removed "Christ." It says, " but every spirit that does not acknowlege Jesus is not from God."  The KJV says "Jesus Christ."

It deeply disturbs me that in the above cited instances, "God, Jesus, and the Spirit" were removed.

Here are a couple of other instances of NIV "changes":

Romans 13:9 - KJV
...Thou shalt not bear false witness,...

Romans 13:9 - NIV
(Note: That statement "Thou shalt not bear false witness" has been removed. - Does that mean that the NIV does bear false witness?)

Revelation 21:24 - KJV
And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light:

Revelation 21:24 - NIV
The nations will walk by its light,...(Note: They removed "which are saved.")

Notes from former NIV readers (first mentioned here under the topic, "MY EXPERIENCES WITH THE ORIGINAL KING JAMES BIBLE, DATED SUNDAY DECEMBER 12, 2010.)

- NIV perverts even the tone of the word of GOD (e-mail from a former NIV reader)

- Former NIV reader says NIV alienates the Father and the Son

(The former NIV reader stated, "Sure, I got saved by the NIV, but it made Jesus a little bit distant from the Father.")

Sandra's comments:

For new converts to Christ, I have often been informed that the Gospel of John is a good book to begin in the original KJV.  There have been vigorous discussions that the NIV and other versions are easier to understand.  For hundreds of years before the other versions became available, scores of people got saved with usage of the original KJV version.  Many strong, potent, powerful Christians were/are the result.  Of course, sincere prayer is vital for understanding God's word, and of utmost importance is to love the Lord our God with all of our hearts, souls, and minds, and to love others, according to God's commands.

Also, as the former NIV reader stated above, "Sure, I got saved by the NIV, but it made Jesus a little bit distant from the Father,"

Further, relative to the NIV being easier to understand:

All of those removals of "God, and Jesus" that I mentioned in scripture citations above, makes me even more disinclined to support the NIV.  If I were a new convert, I believe that I'd be inclined to read the Bible that included God, and Jesus, such as is shown in the original KJV.

In addition, I read that one Christian stated that it is possible to get saved using the NIV, but that it does not promote spiritual growth.

Some may believe that those removals of God, and Jesus from the NIV are not of major importance.  I lovingly disagree.  Also, I wonder what else has been removed from the NIV.  In addition, the website http://www.av1611.com/ mentions omissions and distortions relative to the NAS and the NKJV.  I have read some of that, as well.

Relative to the foreign languge translation matters:

I confess ignorance about said issue but sincerely state that I'm deeply grateful for those that our Lord has led in those realms.

Certainly we need saints who are knowledgable to go forth into all the world to teach and to preach the gospel of the kingdom of God, according to what the word of our Lord commands.  Indeed there are people of excellence who our Lord has appointed to minister relative to foreign languages and cultures.  Their valuable endeavors are much appreciated.

My original post on this topic received numerous lengthy comments that varied in tone.  I deeply appreciate all of those comments because truly we do learn from one another.  My firm belief is that we are all students and teachers in the body of our Lord.  Praise His awesome all-knowing name.

I was ready to move on from the topic but continued to get comments about it.  The most recent comment was one that I read this a.m. (Thursday December 16, 2010) that was sent to me, via e-mail, by a fellow Christian who stated that she was referred here to LIONS SHARE MAJESTY relative to the said topic.  I posted her comments on this blog under the post topic, "MY EXPERIENCES WITH THE ORIGINAL KING JAMES BIBLE" dated Sunday December 12, 2010.

Also, I have moved here the comments below relative to my "TAG ON" about the KJV posting.

Comments from "TAG ON" post dated Sunday December 12, 2010:

Hi Pastor ... -

Thank you for weighing in on this. Your viewpoints are valued indeed.

Interesting that you mentioned the part about the italics in the KJV.  Yes...indeed.

My experience is that the original KJV is easier to memorize and quote.  When I started mostly using the KJV, that progressed to where I can quote it from memory for about a half hour without repeating a citation.  Sometimes I quote it out loud without pausing - for more than 30 minutes.  Some years ago, I found myself in a disturbing circumstance and I didn't have my Bible with me.  I was able to quote out loud extensively from the KJV and that was a major help in that mini-crisis.  Now I take my Bible everywhere.  Some months ago, I was with some people and we were getting out of the car to go to the grocery store.  I got my Bible.  One of my companions told me that I could leave my Bible in the car.  My response was that I take my Bible everywhere - and I added there could be someone in the grocery store who needs something from the Bible.  They agreed...though I don't believe that it was heartily.  No matter...my Bible goes with me everywhere, and I pray regularly to our Lord that I will steadfastly live what is in its pages!

May our Lord help us all.

Back to the present today, Thursday December 16, 2010:

From Sandra:

Thank you to all who have commented. I sincerely appreciate your viewpoints and believe that there has been teaching and learning in the process.

Love to you all,

Sandra

Prayer:

Righteous Father God, only You know it all. I have written here as Your messenger with the awareness that I am finite, and that You are infinite.  We are commanded to love You, to obey You, and to trust You - above all else.

Please move upon hearts to seek You in earnest in regard to this Bible version matter.  I know what You have instructed me and that is to mostly use the original King James version - with rare exceptions.  I am also certain that You instructed me to post these comments.  What I don't know is what You purpose to do in the hearts of others.  That role, Lord, is Yours alone.  You assigned me this duty to post the words.  My prayer is that You are sought for clarity and direction on the matter.  Some of my fellow body-of-Christ members already have the necessary clarity from You while others do not.  May only Your will be obeyed by us all.

Thank you, Lord - Amen.

To close, below are words from our Lord:

This a.m. the Lord gave me these scriptures:

Galatians 1:7 - KJV
...and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

Jeremiah 23:36 - KJV
...for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the Lord of hosts our God.

And Hosea 4:6 - KJV
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:...

  1. Comment on "STRATEGIC PLACEMENT IN THE ARMY IN THE ARMY OF GOD"

Interesting Post. It reminds me of 1Cor.12 and 1Cor15:41 which says "There is] one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for [one] star differeth from [another] star in glory." All light up the heavens but they differ in size, brightness, color, heat & intensity. I agree that YHWH will reveal to all who seek Him in sincerity and lowliness of heart. And that each has their appointed place and rank in the order of YHWH. It is up to us to seek Him out and find our place in Him, and to receive all that He is so eager to bestow; lest we fall short of His glory through willful neglect. "Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth." John 12:35 (Yochanan)
