Greetings -
Scriptures are from the King James Bible.
This morning as I did my daily Bible intimacy with our Lord, He spoke and said to me, "Satan is playing mind games with you. His aim is to intimidate you with his mind games. Beat him at his mind games."
Later this a.m., our Lord reminded me that I have the mind of Christ.
1 Corinthians 2:16
...But we have the mind of Christ.
Also, our Lord reminded me that I'm possessed. Certainly, not possessed by the devil but possessed by Almighty Most High GOD!
Proverbs 8:22
The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
According to our Lord, that wasn't enough because He goes on to inform that the saints possess the kingdom.
Daniel 7:22
Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment ws given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
Matthew 6:10
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Luke 17:21
...for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
In addition, we have witnesses.
1 John 5:9
If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater:...
Hebrews 12:1
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses,...
Joshua 24:27
And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness unto us; for it hath heard all the words of the Lord which he spake unto us; It shall be therefore a witness unto you,...
For those who are in tenacious intimacy with GOD, Satan ain't running nothing but out of time.
I heard a pastor say, "Dogs don't bark at parked cars." So if Satan ain't barking...people are parked. Our Lord didn't choose us to park - for such is spiritually unprofitable and a disgraceful representation. GOD chose us to move forward in the holy name of JESUS.
As I write this, our Lord spoke and stated that some of His people are growing weary of unanswered prayers. Foremost, He says, "2 Corinthians 13:5, 'Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves.' And then, remember tenacity, diligence, and persistence."
How many times did Naaman wash in the Jordan before he was cleansed of leprosy? - 2 Kings 5. How many times did they march before the walls of Jericho fell? - Joshua 6. How many times did Elijah tell the servant to go before the abundance of rain fell? - 1 Kings 18. We are told to forgive seventy times seven. - Matthew 18. We must prevail, persist, and commit to remain rooted and grounded in our Lord - yes, grounded and settled indeed. Our prayers should consistently have a posture of "Thy will be done, Lord." That is how our Lord JESUS prayed when He was in agony. We are commanded to have the mind of Christ.
Romans 3:3,4
For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar;...
Daniel 3:17, 18
If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
Daniel 6:20-22
And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?
Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.
My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.
Ephesians 3:17
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
Colossians 1:23
If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel,...
1 Kings 19:18
...all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.
To: Satan
From: GOD, THE ULTIMATE CHESS MASTER
Subject: Checkmate
1 Corinthians 15:28
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
I'M POSSESSED
ReplyDeleteThank you for the encouragement to persevere, it is confirming some things to me!
ReplyDeletePerseverance...is not easy but to learn how to grow in it requires a supernatural strength. So grateful for the power we have in Jesus! That's a great reminder, too that we must analyze if the things of this world that we hold so close in our hearts do not have a hold on us in return? Nothing like being His prisoner and being possessed by the Lord! Blessings.

You're certainly welcome, precious lady of GOD.
Indeed, we all need encouragement.
@rcubes
Glory that we serve a loving, merciful, forgiving, and supernatural GOD who makes supernatural provisions...
There is NOTHING better than to be possessed by Almighty Most High GOD!!!
Hi Sandra,
ReplyDeleteI love this: "Dogs don't bark at parked cars." "So if Satan ain't barking...people are parked."
Thank you for sharing this wonderful post and God bless,
Ken
Hi Ken -
ReplyDeleteYes, may the dogs keep barking at GOD'S people to affirm that we are in full league with our Lord, Most High!
THANK THE LORD THAT HE IS ON THE SIDE OF THE RIGHTEOUS!
Thank you, Sandra. Love your thoughts.
ReplyDeleteGreat word!
ReplyDeleteI have recently been talking to friends and family about how we become *targets* when we step out strongly for the Lord. Sometimes it's tempting to think that things were "easier" when we weren't following quite as closely.
Yes, a mind game - by the father of lies, the great deceiver.
I'm wearing the helmet of salvation to guard my thoughts.
I'm praying that God will continue to give me the strength and power to go out in boldness. (Wait...I think I hear barking...)
GOD BLESS!

ReplyDelete@Clint
You are certainly welcome. The mind of Christ, dear brother, the mind of Christ. May our Lord help us all...
@Sharon
Yes, we're targets, but Oh Hallelujah, we win because our Lord holds the bullseye board and He is the Master of all games. And the ultimate is that GOD ALWAYS WINS!!!
I roared in laughter, Sharon, when I read your "(Wait...I think I hear barking...)"
Jesus wasn't targeted by the devil for spiritual attack because He and His Father had been sinless all along. But everyone else has both come from a lineage of sin and have sinned ourselves. That leaves permissions for Satan to use a megaphone in our lives.
ReplyDeleteThe process of shutting off these permissions is called sanctification. Jesus told us to consider ourselves dead to our ancestors and the world to follow Him. That's step #1.
Step #2 is deliberately renouncing all the sins of the past to close those permissions.
Hi Sandra,
ReplyDeleteI too love this... "Dogs don't bark at parked cars." "So if Satan ain't barking...people are parked."
Thanks for stopping by my blog. My computer's hard drive crashed and I lost all my book marks and such. I just got my computer back yesterday and we preparing to search for your blog. But, you saved me the effort.
Blessings,

Thank you for your wise words of wisdom and instruction. Your deepness is sincerely appreciated. To GOD be the glory for how He leads and guides us.
@Child of God -
Isn't it wonderful how our Lord teaches us? He is the greatest forever and that is so comforting...
His blessed assurances are amazing...
As for Satan's forces not barking at a parked car....
ReplyDeleteSometimes Satan's forces are like the Keystone cops. I know a compromised Christian who had gotten all the way up to associate pastor and was pushing Yoga and liberalism into the church. This church had started a contemporary service and therefore became a target for the occultists. Among the people hurt or killed, this associate pastor suddenly went blind. The occultists got one of their own with "friendly fire."
Satan and his forces depend upon an espionage network of humans to find out what's happening. Dumb, fallible humans.
