DANCE OF FIRE

I wrote the content on this blog with sincere and holy intentions with the knowledge that I had at the time... We live, learn and amend...as errors are exposed and more truths are revealed...

Only GOD is perfect. It's vital that you seek the Lord to expose any errors that you've embraced. Please ask Him to expose any areas of darkness to you and for what is necessary to do to dispossess what's NOT of truth.

POETRY: DANCE OF FIRE

Flames of fire dance joyfully as dreams of fervor conjure up images of red hot passion for the gusto of life.

Sizzle, spark, explode -

Fireballs light up the sky. Wow! a thunder flash with a clap -

The flames are vivid with the awesome glow of orange colors blended with yellow highlights that accent the blaze.

This display is the bomb torched with a rocket plan. Such rapture has lit our fire. We are dynamite on this journey.

Come on fire, fall on us. Pour your liquid potency. Ignite our souls that we may be engulfed with magnified intensity.

Blow up our hearts. Dance with us....

Sandra

STAYING POWER

Greetings -

Scriptures are from the King James Bible.

We've heard "Once saved, always saved."  I'm not sure about that.  Recently I read in the Holy Bible these words:

Ezekiel 3:20
Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered;...

Matthew 24:13
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Hebrews 3:6
But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

Hebrews 3:14
For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Prayer:

Father, in the name of Jesus, please help us to have staying power.  We are commanded to keep You as our first love, and to be fervent in spirit.  We are charged to steadfastly renew our minds with Your Word.  We need to be transformed by our adherence to Your full gospel truths.

We need to consistently think, tell, and do the truth because the Holy Bible says that all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:... - Revelation 21:8.  The same is expressed for the fearful, murderers, whoremongers, and idolaters.

Help us resist the temptations to be fair weather Christians.  My prayer is that we be solidly with You through any and all.  Help us to remain deeply intimate with You whether we understand Your purposes or not.  You promise calm in storms for Your faithful people.  Your word says, "Peace be still."  Thank You, Lord.

Let us not be fainthearted but rather let us be valiant soldiers and warriors fit for Your glorious use.  Let us trust You to do of Your good pleasure according to Your Master plans.

Let us build our houses on You, our ROCK for only then can we powerfully stand firm unto the end.  Houses built on sand cannot stand up to the onslaughts of the devil.  We are built to last, Lord, as long as we follow You.  Help us, please, to have the staying power that certainly pleases and delights You, and that assures us an eternal place in your holy kingdom.

Thank You, Lord - Amen

Note:
For those who are so inclined, please visit my newly created warrior blog titled, "NEW BREED WARRIORS" at http://www.newbreedwarriors.blogspot.com/.

That blog will  not have frequent entries.  Our Lord led me to create it for those who need a place of escape when the persecution heat is on high levels.  There are warfare pieces there that have lionhearted declarations to pull down strong holds when the heat is on heavily from the forces of darkness.  Every now and then I need to read some of the subject pieces again to reinforce my spiritual armor.

  1. It is only on the Rock that we are held steady, firm, immovable. And that has a lot more to do with the strong GRANITE of God than with our meager human abilities to hang on. It is only through the power of the Holy Spirit that we are given the strength to cling - it is up to us to keep our hearts tuned into and turned toward the Source of our strength.

The Rock will hold us firm when we choose to cling to it - come hell or high water!

    GOD BLESS!

  3. Amen...May He empower us all with His Spirit and always give us His discernment so that we are able to stay away from those things that do not glorify Him. To God be the glory!

  4. Hi, Sandra! It's been awhile since I've visited your blog! This post is definitely food for thought! I have never believed in "once saved always saved", even when I didn't know what that was or that it was a huge sticking point in Christian circles. I don't think salvation is something you can "lose", but I DO believe it is something you can "forfeit". Very sobering indeed.

    God bless!

  5. Hi Sandra,
Yes, an interesting train of thought. I like how Mining for Diamonds expresed her stand. Quite frankly, it's not a discussion I engage in any more. I try to focus on what Jesus focused on - how to get save and how to live holy since there is no passage in the scripture that makes the statement in question. I'm not anyone's judge. Only God knows their heart. All we need to do is as you did, give them scripture and show them the love of Christ.

    God bless!

  6. Greetings -

Thank you all for your comments. Indeed I value what you express.

Firm belief in holy scriptures and adherence to the full gospel truths is the best remedy...

The word of GOD states in 1 Corinthians 2:15 - KJV, "But he that is spiritual judgeth all things,..."

May we all do better, in earnest, to steadfastly press toward the mark...to meet GOD'S expectations, individually and collectively, as befits those who profess Christ as Savior and Lord.

Certainly, only GOD ALWAYS knows what is in the whole of our hearts, but if He so chooses, He can reveal to humans what is in the heart of others. Our Lord did that in 1 Samuel 9:19 - KJV. It states, "And Samuel answered Saul, and said, I am the seer:...and tomorrow I will let thee go, and will tell thee all that is in thine heart."

    Prayer:

Dear Lord, help us please to have staying power in obedience to your full gospel. For surely that is immensely pleasing to You.
