DANCE OF FIRE

I wrote the content on this blog with sincere and holy intentions with the knowledge that I had at the time... We live, learn and amend...as errors are exposed and more truths are revealed...

Only GOD is perfect. It's vital that you seek the Lord to expose any errors that you've embraced. Please ask Him to expose any areas of darkness to you and for what is necessary to do to dispossess what's NOT of truth.

POETRY: DANCE OF FIRE

Flames of fire dance joyfully as dreams of fervor conjure up images of red hot passion for the gusto of life.

Sizzle, spark, explode -

Fireballs light up the sky. Wow! a thunder flash with a clap -

The flames are vivid with the awesome glow of orange colors blended with yellow highlights that accent the blaze.

This display is the bomb torched with a rocket plan. Such rapture has lit our fire. We are dynamite on this journey.

Come on fire, fall on us. Pour your liquid potency. Ignite our souls that we may be engulfed with magnified intensity.

Blow up our hearts. Dance with us....

Sandra

SUNDAY CAPUSULE #3

Greetings -

This is my third and last CAPSULE for today.

CAPSULE #3

Other than our GOD, JESUS, and the HOLY SPIRIT, who is one of your favorite Bible characters, and why?

Does anyone in the Bible, in particular, remind you of you?  If so, why?

That's very hard -- there are so many wonderful characters in the Bible. Every time I think of a name -- another comes to mind that moves me to another story. I think Martha lingers longest. She is such a hospitable woman, wanting to serve her Lord and can't get anyone to help her. I'm more like Mary -- I should be helping, but there's so much to learn at His feet. He opens His teachings to women, and that is so different from what Mary and Martha have seen before. At the temple in Jerusalem and in their local synagogue women are separated from the men. Here, Jesus allows everyone - men, women and children, to come hear His words. What a glorious change that must have been. Yes -- Martha is a favorite character, though Mary acts more the way I feel.

Tomorrow? I might have chosen a different character -- a different "me."

  2. Hi Grammy -

Thank you for responding. Your selections are quite interesting. Mary and Martha indeed were quite interesting...

  3. Hello Sandra, I don't know that I have a particular favorite Bible character. Like Grammy it kind of depends on the day and what's going on in my personal life. Certainly David and Joseph stand out to me because they each started in a low place and face great adversity but they prevailed and reached their destined place. In many ways Hannah reminds me of myself.

  4. Hi Sandra, it's so hard to pick a favorite because I admire so many wonderful traits in many of them. I love Daniel for his spirit of excellence and commitment, David for his humble heart, Esther for being willing to be used by God, Ruth for not taking the easy road... like I said I can't choose just one:)
