Greetings -
Scriptures are from the King James Bible.
Photo compliments of Sandra.
I believe it was yesterday that I read where hackers hacked millions of accounts. Well, it appears that my Yahoo account was one of those millions. And what do I have to say about that?!
Romans 8:37
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
The Acts 20:24
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy,...
Psalm 63:8
My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
Recently, my friend Beverly reminded me about our need to be diligent. I certainly needed to hear that. There are times that we are tempted to give up because we just don't feel inclined to deal with whatever. Beverly firmly reminded me that we must be diligent. Thank you, Beverly.
Our Lord told me earlier this week that my next blog post would be titled, "DILIGENCE." Here it is folks with scriptures about diligence. And after I got hacked today, our Lord told me to create a new Yahoo account and to call it - diligenceprevails@yahoo.com.
Isaiah 55:2
...hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
Hebrews 12:15
Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.
Proverbs 4:23
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
2 Corinthians 8:7
Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.
Hebrews 6:11
And we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
2 Peter 1:5
And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
2 Peter 1:10
Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall.
Hebrews 10:35, 36
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
Prayer
Glorious Father, thank You, for Your awesome love, help and care. We so appreciate that there is nothing that we cannot conquer with Your love, power, strength, knowledge and wisdom. Please help us, Lord, to prevail with diligence and firm adherence to Your will.
Please save the souls of hackers. They are deceived, Lord, and need to know how to forsake foolish and evil practices. Move in their hearts, dear Father, and show them the way to salvation, love, peace, joy, and holiness. Your Word declares in Isaiah 57:21, "There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked." But Oh glory - it also says in Isaiah 26:3, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."
Let the hackers and others who engage in foolish and ungodly practices call on JESUS to be saved, healed, delivered and made whole. And lead us Your people to be diligent about proclaiming and living Your full gospel truth.
Thank You, Lord - Amen.
Note: The day before my previous Yahoo E-mail account got hacked I received an E-mail from what I thought was Yahoo. It asked me my password... I submitted it and the next day I was hacked. My sister told me today, Saturday November 12, 2011, that that is why I got hacked because I provided info to what I thought was legitimately Yahoo. Likely, there are others way that hackers use...but I unwittingly gave them entrance. Beware, people. Thank you.
Sandra I received one of those hacker emails from your account today. Even in the midst of darkness light shines through. Blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteI had to check your blogspot to see if you really had taken a trip to London and gotten robbed. I see now why you didn't call me back collect.
ReplyDeleteNext time you need a LOT longer password for your email addresses.
Actually, I gave my password.... Please see note that I added to the end of this subject post.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra,
ReplyDeleteI am sorry you wee hacked. :( I too will pray for these hackers, that they will find Jesus and repent.
Diligence is very important and I am learning that it is hard work. Raising kids I need to be constantly alert to what they are getting into, if I slack and they start listening to the wrong music, then pulling them back from the road they are on can be difficult.
Blessings girl,

Oh Sandra - what a nightmare!
ReplyDeleteLast year I got caught with a scam through a PayPal account. It was solved quickly, but it made me feel so vulnerable. And earlier this summer, we had two episodes where our bank cards were somehow stolen (not our fault).
It is an increasingly deceptive world out there, and we must be on our toes. Both in the actual world, and in the spiritual realm. The wolves are wearing sheep's clothing - and the believers must NOT be swayed.
And I applaud you for encouraging us to pray for these people - yes, Jesus tells us to love our enemies.
GOD BLESS!
"Diligence prevails"....amen...I love that!
ReplyDeleteWe are conquerors, not in some things, but in ALL these things. Diligence certainly prevails in every situation.
ReplyDeleteWhat an infuriating nightmare it can be when you have been hacked. I was hacked once, I was determined I was not going to change my e-mail address as I have had it for years. I changed my password instantly and now change it VERY often, and have experienced no further problems. But we know hackers, they are persistent, right!
As the Lord said in Matthew 10:16 we must be as wise as serpents as harmless as doves.
God Bless, <><
