Greetings -
Praise our Lord!
Note: The sister in Christ that gave me this testimony (I'll call her Janet) is aware that I posted this on this blog.
This a.m. Janet gave me this testimony by phone. Her
step-daughter (I'll call her Paula) is 20 something, raised in the church, went wayward, joined the military, pregnant out of wedlock...
For about a couple of years, Janet and Paula have not been on the best of terms. Over the years, I assured Janet that when the Lord was ready, He was going to change Paula.
Paula is still in the military and stationed somewhere on the east coast U.S.A. She was raised on the east coast, and is within driving distance from her home state.
Well, Paula called Janet. They are talking again. She recently called to inform Janet that one day she decided to go back to church. She looked in the phone book for a church and found one with the SAME name of her home church! She got her baby ready and they went out to find the church. Janet stated that she drove around for about 45 minutes and could not locate it. She said to the Lord that if He wanted her to find the church, He would need to lead her there because she was about to give up and go home.
Janet went to McDonald's, and a van drove up with the name of the church on the van! She spoke with them and followed them to the church. When she got there, the pastor looked familiar. Turns out he is the brother of a deceased relative of a friend of hers. Also, the praise and worship leader has the same initials (or name, I forget which) as the praise and worship leader from Janet's home church. And she discovered that the church is only a ten minute drive from her home!
GOD is getting her ready for more. I am convinced that Paula is going all the way with JESUS. Please pray for her and her family. Thank you.
THANK YOU, ALMIGHTY GOD, WHO IS FOREVER IN MOVEMENT TO HANDLE YOUR BUSINESS AND TO DRAW YOUR CHILDREN!!

ReplyDeleteOK, this post gave me "spiritual" goosebumps!! How wonderfully faithful God is. I'm so glad that she didn't just give up without praying. What a wonderful answer to prayer!
ReplyDeleteI did a post on August 5, 2010 called "Spiritual Jazz Hands." Just a little something about those moments when you can't contain your praise for something God has done!!
Can you see me waving my hands over here in California!???
He is SO good, and SO faithful. Thanks for sharing this, Sandra. It gives me tremendous hope for some of the things I am praying for.
GOD BLESS!
