DANCE OF FIRE

I wrote the content on this blog with sincere and holy intentions with the knowledge that I had at the time... We live, learn and amend...as errors are exposed and more truths are revealed...

Only GOD is perfect. It's vital that you seek the Lord to expose any errors that you've embraced. Please ask Him to expose any areas of darkness to you and for what is necessary to do to dispossess what's NOT of truth.

POETRY: DANCE OF FIRE

Flames of fire dance joyfully as dreams of fervor conjure up images of red hot passion for the gusto of life.

Sizzle, spark, explode -

Fireballs light up the sky. Wow! a thunder flash with a clap -

The flames are vivid with the awesome glow of orange colors blended with yellow highlights that accent the blaze.

This display is the bomb torched with a rocket plan. Such rapture has lit our fire. We are dynamite on this journey.

Come on fire, fall on us. Pour your liquid potency. Ignite our souls that we may be engulfed with magnified intensity.

Blow up our hearts. Dance with us....

WHAT INCONVENIENCE?!

Greetings -

Scriptures are from the King James Bible.

Early this a.m., our Lord spoke these words to me, "I have put more power in you."  I thanked Him.  Among other Bible Scriptures that I read this morning, I read The Acts 2:26, 28, "Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:  Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance."

I went to my neighborhood grocery store this morning.  Placed on the front door was a sign that began, "Sorry for the inconvenience..."  It went on to inform that the card payment units were out of order - the sign indicated that the store personnel couldn't process debit cards, or other card payment actions.

Our Lord wastes nothing.  Satan shows off.  GOD shows on.  My trip to the store was NOT in vain.  The Bible says in Romans 8:28, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."  Our Lord had me to seize the opportunity.  I showed on for GOD.

The store sign began, "Sorry for the inconvenience..."  Our Lord emphasized to me these words, "What inconvenience?!"  It was convenient for me to "preach" the gospel.  I commenced to stand outside the store, and for about ten minutes, words from the Holy Bible poured out of my mouth.  A woman came out of the store and stated, "Preach that Word."  I acknowledged her...and then went on to proclaim, decree, and warn, from words in the Holy Bible.  And praise and glory to GOD flowed from my sanctified lips.  Glory Hallelujah!

When done there, I went a longer distance away to another grocery store.  The so-called inconvenience at my neighborhood store resulted in blessings for me and others  - in route to, and from the other grocery store.  There is a gospel song that says, "There's a Blessing in the Storm."  Our Lord allowed me to be blessed, and to bless others.  Again, Bible truth proves itself.

When I returned home, our Lord reminded me of what He had led me to read in The Acts 2:26, 28 before I began my grocery store journey.  "Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:  Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance."  Our Lord knew about the store sign before I arrived there.  He could have given me prior notice.  His ways are NOT our ways.  His Word was in my heart and what I read in The Acts 2 this a.m. came to pass when I got to the store.    Glory to GOD!  Indeed my heart did rejoice - my tongue was glad - and joy was surely present within me as I stood in front of that store and boldly spoke the words of our Lord contained in His Holy Bible.  All that I spoke was from my memory base due to regularly spending time in the Holy Bible - digesting it and marinating in its truth-filled flavors.

Last night our Lord shared with me that when we live holy, and as a result, receive persecution, and demonic opposition - we are to do as the Word of GOD commands in James 1:2, "...count it all  joy."  He went on to share that when Satan fights us, we shouldn't engage in self-pity.  Self-pity is idolatry, and an insult to our Lord - as is all sin.

Keeping things in perspective, I share Isaiah 45:7, "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things."

Satan can only start,  and do as "thus saith the Lord."  We can remember that our Lord gave Satan permission to oppose Job.  Satan must get GOD'S permission to do anything.  The Bible clearly states about GOD in Daniel 7:27, "...all dominions shall serve and obey him."   And in John 19:11, JESUS tells Pilate, "...Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above:..."

Sometimes when we are in the midst of trials, they can become so challenging that we don't remain mindful that GOD allows trials for the advancement of His kingdom purposes, and "for our profit that we might be partakers of His holiness" - Hebrews 12:10.  We are in moments in time to "put away childish things" - 1 Corinthians 13:11.  Our Lord knows how long milk is reasonably to be consumed by each of His children.  And surely He knows when milk and pacifiers need to be "put away."   Hebrews 5:14 says, "But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."

When we live holy, and Satan fights against us, he starts things with us that he comes to regret.  Again, Romans 8:28, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God..."  When Satan put in motion evil actions that led to the crucifixion of our Lord, he started something that he came to regret.  Our Lord's crucifixion led to His resurrection, and subsequently, He is our Lord and Savior.

GOD didn't tell Satan that JESUS would be raised from the dead to reign and rule forever!  The Bible speaks in 1 Corinthians 2:7, 8 these words, "But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory.  Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory."

Revelation 11:10-12
And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet: and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither.  And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Our Lord said to me that when we are in the storms we should say to Him things like, "Lord, I wonder what good and blessings you have in motion because of these storms.  Thank You, Lord, for what You are doing for Your glory in these storms that You have allowed in our lives.  Thank You that we shall come forth as gold!" Job 23:10, "But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold."

When Satan fights us, it is affirmation that we are in league with the insurmountable Father of lights.

Let us routinely thank our Lord for the good that is surely in, and after the storms - when we live holy unto our Lord.

James 5:11
Behold, we count them happy which endure....

  1. I especially was struck by this part : "Self-pity is idolatry, and an insult to our Lord - as is all sin." I don't usually have trouble with self pity but rather used to with it's cousin "I can never forgive myself" until a dear friend said "what, your sin is too big for Jesus to take away? IF he forgave you then surely you can forgive yourself or you are saying, in essence, that Jesus death on the cross was not enough to pay for your sin...." WOW -I repented and quickly (after years of battling this) forgave myself!

  2. Hi Marijo -

I can relate to not forgiving ourselves. It was an issue for me, as well. GOD is so good to teach us to let go and to keep moving ahead in Him.

    Bless His holy name!

  4. I read this first on my iPhone -- which has limitations with graphics, so I couldn't post until I got back home. My initial response in reading was:

Wow!! The witness is great - but 1 Cor 2:7-8 is awesome. I've read it, but my eyes were opened this time. The cross unrevealed - I had not considered that Satan would have attempted prevention had he known. Awesome!!!

  5. Sandra, I was absolutely inspired by this post. First, I love how bold you were to speak out, and speak on our Lord! I'm sure many were blessed!

And, I was also encouraged by what you said about fighting the enemy, and how we ought to look at our struggles and challenges. This was my favorite: "When Satan fights us, it is affirmation that we are in league with the insurmountable Father of lights."

How I lost sight of that this week. If I'm under attack, it's really a sign that I'm doing something right! If I wasn't being used for the Lord's purposes, then the devil would leave me alone. The fact that he's after me, it's a good sign. I've got him worried.

Lord, help me to stand stronger against his attacks. Change my heart's outlook - give me the strength to "count it all joy" and rejoice in my battles - for they are advancing the Kingdom!

    GOD BLESS!

  6. Sandra,

You have no idea how much I needed to read this today. I've been in a tough place lately and battling discouragement. This is a good reminder that God is indeed with me and that these challenges confirm His path for my life. I don't know why I always seem to be taken by surprise by the resistance of the enemy! I should not be surprised by these fiery trials, but count it all joy. Sometimes it's hard to remember that but your post has helped me today.

    Blessings!

    @Grammy Blick
I love this that you expressed, "...The cross unrevealed." Yes, I love how you termed that, Grammy Blick.

Yes, truly our GOD is awesome. Bless His holy name.

    @Sharon
Glad you were inspired. We all need such...

You expressed, "The fact that he's after me, it's a good sign. I've got him worried."

A hearty Amen to that, Sharon. It is so glorious that our Lord makes the devil "sweat."

    @Mining for Diamonds
My precious sister, I can relate...

For sure, our Lord is with you, and promised, in His Word, to never fail or forsake you - Hebrews 13:5 - KJV. He is faithful and steadfastly performs His Word.

Cleave to our Lord and know that He will show you that He is your rock, fortress, deliverer, provider, shield, and buckler. The battles are not ours - but GOD'S.

Continue in the Word of GOD, and He will strengthen you, progressively, to resist Satan and His wicked wiles...

  10. Hi Sandra,
You shared: There is a gospel song that says, "There's a Blessing in the Storm." Earlier today and yesterday I have been thinking about blessings in the storms. Not the song, but blessings in the storms of life. God is good all the time!
    God bless,
    Ken

  12. God Bless you Sandra this is the encouragement I needed to hear; but sometimes the storms can go on too long and we become weary--even little things seem to confound us at times I know my aunt would say: A Blessing comes out of a storm and there is a song that says I have been in the storm too long. There is a picture for this month on my calendar that shows Jesus in the boat with us in a storm. Storms-- I am anticipating God's best for me after these storms!
