DANCE OF FIRE

I wrote the content on this blog with sincere and holy intentions with the knowledge that I had at the time... We live, learn and amend...as errors are exposed and more truths are revealed...

Only GOD is perfect. It's vital that you seek the Lord to expose any errors that you've embraced. Please ask Him to expose any areas of darkness to you and for what is necessary to do to dispossess what's NOT of truth.

POETRY: DANCE OF FIRE

Flames of fire dance joyfully as dreams of fervor conjure up images of red hot passion for the gusto of life.

Sizzle, spark, explode -

Fireballs light up the sky. Wow! a thunder flash with a clap -

The flames are vivid with the awesome glow of orange colors blended with yellow highlights that accent the blaze.

This display is the bomb torched with a rocket plan. Such rapture has lit our fire. We are dynamite on this journey.

Come on fire, fall on us. Pour your liquid potency. Ignite our souls that we may be engulfed with magnified intensity.

Blow up our hearts. Dance with us....

Sandra

I'M JUST SAYING...

Greetings -

Scriptures are from the King James Bible.

Mark 6:22, 23

And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee.

And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom.

Is it just me or does anyone else wonder what kind of dance Herodias' daughter did to prompt King Herod to "sware unto her" that he would give her half of his kingdom?

I've seen a lot of dances but none that, in my estimation, compel to such an extent.

One more, "I'm just saying":

In the Bible there are instances of JESUS and others going up to mountains to pray.  Mark 14:23 says, "And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went into a mountain apart to pray:..."

Please know that I'm not lightly esteeming prayer, but I get winded when I walk up some steps.  I simply cannot comprehend walking up a mountain such as how they did in those days.  I mean they didn't have the gear that mountain climbers now have to aid their ascents.  Wonder - Wonder

Aren't mountains typically high?  Hills give me pause.  I'm just saying...

  1. Perchance they did not think about how difficult it would be to climb mountains. They prolly just DID it. God bless you.

  2. I think the dance must have been something fairly seductive (which is really creepy when you think it's his step-daughter...I'm just saying!)

And, back in the day, I think people who walked all over were just made of sturdier "stuff" than we are. I think of Paul's travels. Goodness, that man got around! The distances he traveled and the time it took - he certainly was a man with a mission - and I think we do well to copy his intrepid attitude.

I do love that Jesus always took time to pull Himself aside - that He found a quiet place to restore Himself, and to commune quietly with His Father. Again, this is a practice we do well to imitate.

    GOD BLESS!

  3. Hi lioneagle,
I live in a very hilly place. There is not one level parking lot or road. We call people who are not from here "flat landers". It doesn't take too long to spot them either since they are usually the ones who trip or stumble a lot. I am challenged by this terrain myself even though we've been here for 18 years now.
I guess it has a lot to do with what a person is used to and their physical ability. Jesus musta been really strong to have done the stuff He did!
    ~God Bless~
