DANCE OF FIRE

I wrote the content on this blog with sincere and holy intentions with the knowledge that I had at the time... We live, learn and amend...as errors are exposed and more truths are revealed...

Only GOD is perfect. It's vital that you seek the Lord to expose any errors that you've embraced. Please ask Him to expose any areas of darkness to you and for what is necessary to do to dispossess what's NOT of truth.

POETRY: DANCE OF FIRE

Flames of fire dance joyfully as dreams of fervor conjure up images of red hot passion for the gusto of life.

Sizzle, spark, explode -

Fireballs light up the sky. Wow! a thunder flash with a clap -

The flames are vivid with the awesome glow of orange colors blended with yellow highlights that accent the blaze.

This display is the bomb torched with a rocket plan. Such rapture has lit our fire. We are dynamite on this journey.

Come on fire, fall on us. Pour your liquid potency. Ignite our souls that we may be engulfed with magnified intensity.

Blow up our hearts. Dance with us....

Sandra

LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL OR WHEN BAD TIMES ROLL IN, WHO ROLLS - OUT?

Greetings -

Scriptures are from the King James Bible.

Photo compliments of Sandra.

I heard someone say, "Warriors are ride or die saints."  That statement profoundly struck my spirit.  I loved it!  That is my desire - to be a "ride or die" saint.  Certainly, that's the desire of other Christians, as well.  Hallelujah - Glory to GOD.

The title of this post, "LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL OR WHEN BAD TIMES ROLL IN, WHO ROLLS - OUT?" came to me this a.m. as a trial came my way.  Our Lord told me, "Don't give it up."

Satan's aim is to put us under stress to cause us to give up.  Many have heard the saying, "New levels - new devils."  Lately, that has been the situation in my life.  Our Lord gives us choices to give up or to dig in closer to Him.  The devil wants persecution for righteousness' sake to drive us away from GOD.  Our Lord wants persecution for righteousness' sake to drive us TO HIM.  The odds are against Satan when we choose to draw nigh to GOD.  GOD always wins and so do we when we walk with Him through it ALL!

1 Peter 3:14
But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;

Some Christians know that it angers Satan when we obey our Lord, which includes daily reading of His Holy Bible, and prayer.  Subsequently, some Christians allow Satan to intimidate them away from GOD, thus, they don't daily read the Bible and pray as GOD instructs...

Joshua 1:8
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

There are assortments of reasons that are given for not spending daily time with GOD in His Word and in prayer, but one reason is fear of persecution from the devil.  Satan enjoys when we neglect GOD because when we neglect GOD, guess who has more of our attention?  Satan!  Yes, indeed, that plays right into his evil hands.

My firm belief is to seek GOD early - giving Him the firstfruits of the day.  GOD owns the air.  When we wake up and breathe it, isn't it sensible to give our Lord the first of His day that He has made?

Psalm 63:1
O God, thou art my GOD; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee,...

How often do we give GOD the leftovers of our days?  Frequently, we want a fresh Word from Him but how often do we go to GOD fresh in the mornings?

Prayer:

Glorious, worthy, Father GOD, You are holy and we thank You with immense gratitude and appreciation that You alone are GOD.  Father, at times, we have fallen short and neglected to give You sufficient praise, thanks, and glory.  Please forgive us, Lord.

Help us, please, to be strong in You so that we won't bail out on You when persecution arises for the sake of the gospel and our choices to live it.  We need to steadfastly be rooted and grounded in You to war a good warfare.  I pray that we, who are called by Your name, shall be "ride or die" saints, fully committed to Your full gospel truth.  Your Word tells us that You reward those who diligently seek You - Hebrews 11:6.

Truly, Lord, You know who is on Your side - for real.

Please help us to endure with You - firm unto the end.

Thank You, Lord - Amen.

Deuteronomy 8:2
And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments or no.

1 Kings 17:13
And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.

Mark 4:17
And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

Matthew 24:12, 13
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Matthew 26:31, 33,34
Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night; for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.

Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended.

Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

Matthew 13:57
And they were offended in him.

Luke 18:1
...that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

Exodus 32:26
Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the Lord's side: let him come unto me.

James 5:11
Behold, we count them happy which endure.

The Acts 20:24
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Philippians 1:28
And in nothing terrified by your adversaries:...

Zephaniah 3:13
...and none shall make you afraid.

Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL...
WHEN THE BAD TIMES ROLL IN -
WE, THE HOLY SAINTS OF THE MOST HIGH, SHALL
ROLL ON REJOICING WITH OUR LOVING, FORGIVING, INDESTRUCTIBLE AND UNSTOPPABLE FATHER -GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY!

Matthew 16:18
...and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

  1. A good word today, Sandra.

Our pastor is currently doing a series on the book of Acts - It's entitled "Boldly." Yes, that is indeed what we are called to do - to trust and obey the Lord boldly. I am currently reading in the book of Acts for my yearly Bible reading plan. It's rather amazing how the early church experienced great expansion BECAUSE of persecution. Satan's attempted efforts to drive OUT Christianity only served to drive ON the believers!

Try to steamroll over us, and we will simply roll on and on...

Truth or die? It is a far better thing (both now and eternally) to die for truth than to live for a lie. May God strengthen us and enable us to BOLDLY read and obey and spread His Word.

    GOD BLESS!

  2. Amen! Thank you for sharing what the Lord had instilled in your heart from this post, which in turn, encourages my faith all the more.

As I continue to face a mountain of trial, I don't see it as something to overcome. I'm always reminded of the Mountain...that because of even a tiny bit of faith...can move this Mountain. With faith, I will rejoice because of Jesus, the Mountain. That He already had given us the victory and if we truly are with Him, who can be against us? Glory be to our good God! Thank you sister for your sweet greetings. God bless and protect you.

    @Sharon
What you expressed turns on the shout channel in me. Amen - Hallelujah!

Stay tuned, devil. We, warriors, are gearing up for more holy warfare. GOD is on our side as we abide in Him - in earnest. WE WIN - so says GOD's Holy Bible...

    @rcubes
Glad that you are encouraged. Yes, we certainly need to encourage one another.

Right on that we indeed have the victories in Christ JESUS! Bless His holy name.

  4. I had to come back, Sharon, to highlight a portion of what you expessed.

    That is:

"It's rather amazing how the early church experienced great expansion BECAUSE of persecution. Satan's attempted efforts to drive OUT Christianity only served to drive ON the believers!"

That is full gospel truth, Sharon, and I love it. Yes indeed, "BECAUSE of persecution," the gospel multiplied.

The strong thrive - with JESUS in the midst.

    THANK YOU, LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!

  5. And Sharon, speaking of the book of The Acts, I read this today:

    The Acts 5:39 - KJV
But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

That is one of my favorite scriptures...

NEVER can GOD be overthrown... How marvelous to know that gospel truth.
