DANCE OF FIRE

I wrote the content on this blog with sincere and holy intentions with the knowledge that I had at the time... We live, learn and amend...as errors are exposed and more truths are revealed...

Only GOD is perfect. It's vital that you seek the Lord to expose any errors that you've embraced. Please ask Him to expose any areas of darkness to you and for what is necessary to do to dispossess what's NOT of truth.

POETRY: DANCE OF FIRE

Flames of fire dance joyfully as dreams of fervor conjure up images of red hot passion for the gusto of life.

Sizzle, spark, explode -

Fireballs light up the sky. Wow! a thunder flash with a clap -

The flames are vivid with the awesome glow of orange colors blended with yellow highlights that accent the blaze.

This display is the bomb torched with a rocket plan. Such rapture has lit our fire. We are dynamite on this journey.

Come on fire, fall on us. Pour your liquid potency. Ignite our souls that we may be engulfed with magnified intensity.

Blow up our hearts. Dance with us....

Sandra

SIN/INIQUITY

Greetings -

Yesterday I watched from his Video Library Bishop Joseph Walker III teaching a Bible study in July 2010. He made these statements, “Iniquity is sin that has graduated to a lifestyle. Sin is what you do – iniquity is who you become.”

Those statements struck a chord in my spirit. Bishop Walker gave scripture content. Early this a.m., I searched those cited scriptures, and the Lord gave me some additional ones.

Here I offer what I believe. According to scripture, we all sin and come short of the glory of GOD. I believe that if we allow sin to reign and/or to have dominion over us, then it becomes iniquity.

These are some of the scriptures that the Lord provided:

Luke 13:27
But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

Luke 6:46
And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

2 Timothy 2:19
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are his, And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

2 Peter 2:15, 16, 18
Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, …who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

But was rebuked for his iniquity:
…they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

Titus 2:14
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Please weigh in on this as I am interested in the comments of others. Thank you.

What is the difference or is there a difference?

  2. I'd say Joseph is right. If you sow a sin and let it grow, it will become a habit (or an addiction). If left undisturbed, it will become an identity or a persona. If left to go its way, it will close the door on righteousness and God.

Family shame, trauma and bitterness can give us an impetus down that road.

Adolf Hitler's father was a bastard. Adolph wanted to be an artist but was rejected many times. He got into homosexual prostitution for a time. He was friendless and alone. A grand recipe for frustration and hate. He got into a struggling hate group -- and the rest is history. But even there, he had a chance to accept the gospel!

For Christians, though, we can end up in terminal trouble:
    Hebrews 6:4-6
4It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, 6if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.

But not many Christians have this complete understanding of the faith to run this risk. Most could be brought back by the addition of what they are missing from this list.

  3. Thank you, Timothy. Your information indeed enlightened for me areas that were unfamiliar.

  4. Read some of your postings - the enemy knows his legal rights and we have to be a people after God's own heart seeking after Him and being obedient - holiness is not something we pray once to "get" but a daily walking it out with Jesus - letting go of things we know better not to hang unto and walking closer and closer to Him.
