DANCE OF FIRE

I wrote the content on this blog with sincere and holy intentions with the knowledge that I had at the time... We live, learn and amend...as errors are exposed and more truths are revealed...

Only GOD is perfect. It's vital that you seek the Lord to expose any errors that you've embraced. Please ask Him to expose any areas of darkness to you and for what is necessary to do to dispossess what's NOT of truth.

POETRY: DANCE OF FIRE

Flames of fire dance joyfully as dreams of fervor conjure up images of red hot passion for the gusto of life.

Sizzle, spark, explode -

Fireballs light up the sky. Wow! a thunder flash with a clap -

The flames are vivid with the awesome glow of orange colors blended with yellow highlights that accent the blaze.

This display is the bomb torched with a rocket plan. Such rapture has lit our fire. We are dynamite on this journey.

Come on fire, fall on us. Pour your liquid potency. Ignite our souls that we may be engulfed with magnified intensity.

Blow up our hearts. Dance with us....

Sandra

TESTIMONY

Greetings people -

Today I have the "blahs."  It is not the first time nor the last time.  We all have such "moments."  I sought the Lord through prayer, worship and Bible reading.   Certainly that helped.  Further what helped is that I went on some sites and read what others wrote and expressed about their lives, and experiences.  I posted some responses to some postings.  Those steps made me feel better.  For me, this "blah" place serves to remind me that sometimes when we are "blue," it helps to reach out to others.  Helping others helps us.

My dear sister, Marijo, wrote a piece that I found today posted on World Wide Bible Studies. And my dear sister, Julie, posted some pieces on her blog www.graceandglory2.blogspot.com that ministered to me.  Gratitude is extended to them both and to all the others that contribute to the betterment of our great planet earth designed so wonderfully by our incomparalbe Creator, GOD.

I am still a little "blah" but know that it is temporary.  My fellow members of the body of Christ made me feel better and I hope that I do the same for them.  It is so comforting to know that we cannot do this holy journey solo.  We need each other and I am glad to know that there are others who keep it real in JESUS name!

Thank you, Lord for these precious people.  Amen.

  1. Hi Sandra,

I totally understand the Blah's. I have those days also. Those are the days when I have to constantly keep praise music going, and I am in His word, and I make myself sing praise to Him. Sometimes going out and doing something, that costs little, or nothing, with a friend helps. Making sure I get regular exercise helps me also.

I've noticed that I have more of those days than I used to, and I think it's a hormone imbalance because of perimenopause. My doctor tells me that I'm in that phase of life now.

I will keep you in my prayers. I'm glad you are feeling better than you were earlier.

  2. I had a Blah day today too. I was sewing some curtains, and the though occurred to me to call my mom to ask if I should hem the sides or the bottom first, but my mom died 3 years ago, and I can't call her. Nor will she be coming to visit me to see my new curtains. She taught me to sew. She died of lung cancer when she was 61. I let myself have a pity party, telling God it wasn't fair for me to lose my mom so soon. I called a friend and she listened to me. I am so thankful for my Christian friends.

  3. Here's a prayer on my website for getting clean from work -- but it still works for all occasions:

  4. Thank you all of you for your comments and prayers. Timothy, I read the prayer on your sight and it was on point.

Karen, I can feel you on the mother yearning...

Julie, what you shared, helped me to realize that we all have "blahs" but GOD is able to keep us from falling...bless His holy name.

I was feeling lonely, alone and sad - Praise GOD that He sent my blog calvary to my rescue.
You remember how in the old Westerns (for those who are old enough to remember them) how the calvary came just in the nick of time?

Is anyone else familiar with how GOD does that sometimes, too - rescue us at the 11th hour? And we respond to Him with something like, "Lord, what took you so long?" or "Why did it take You so long?"

Today, I believe that our Father needed me to be assured that He has people that love and care and sometimes the only way that that can be proven is for us to go through...to come out...

When we cleave to our Lord, regardless,- spiritural growth is the definite result.
