DELIGHTFUL WEDNESDAY EVENING SCRIPTURE JOY - NO FEAR HERE

Greetings -

1 Thessalonians 3:3
That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.

1 Peter 2:8
And a stone of stumbling and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

1 Peter 2:9
Be ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

2 Corinthians 4:17
But our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

This post is a reminder to us that Satan has his appointment and we have ours.  He is appointed to oppose us.  We are appointed to glorify GOD, to destroy the works of the Devil, to plant, to water, to subdue, to take authority over evil forces, and to take the kingdom and to possess the kingdom for ever.

Daniel 7:18
But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.

Certainly, we can expect Satan to fight against us.  That is his appointment.  Our appointment is to know that we have already won the victory over sin and death.  Our role is to remain fully armored and to stand, and having done all to stand.  

We are not appointed to be light weight, cowering, sniveling ineffective vain wimps. None of that describes our Lord or any of His characteristics.  Yes, we do have our weak insecure "moments," but they should not dominate or reign.  Satan cannot devour us if we continue in the ways of our Lord. 

Satan came against me today as I was out and about.  The Lord told me to skip.  I obeyed and started skipping down the street.  The Lord informed me that the Devil was incensed about that.  Also, when I have satanic attacks come against me, I sing in the spirit in tongues, and repeatedly say the name of JESUS.  I do those actions  not from a place of fear but from a place of knowing that those things anger Satan and please our Lord.  Paul states in the Bible, "I am fully persuaded..."

Fear is not an option for true worshippers.  When it comes, we are to submit to our Lord and resist it because GOD  has not given us a spirit of fear.  When we have instances when we cannot resist the Devil without help from others in the body of Christ, we need to seek the help and prayers that are so vital to our continued holy journeys for the sake of the kingdom of GOD.  We cannot afford to give Satan footholds because he will aim to cause strongholds.  We have the power to shut his devices down in the mighty name of JESUS.   

We are appointed to love.  My prayer is that our Lord will teach us how to love in ways that bring Him glory and in ways that definitely advance the gospel of the kingdom of Almighty GOD.

We are told by our Lord in Romans 5:3-5
...but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience hope: and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost...

We are told repeatedly in our Lord's Word to "FEAR NOT."

Jeremiah 1:19
And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the Lord to deliver thee.

Prayer:
Our blessed Father GOD, in the name of JESUS, please teach us how to be fused with You in ways that allow us to go from faith to faith, from strength to strength, and from glory to glory in Your precious name.  Help us, please, to readily love, trust and obey You Lord because You always have the best plans, and actions. We can trust You, Lord because You have proven to us that You are trustworthy.  We need to cling to You, cleave to You,  and steadfastly be about Your business above all else.  Let the desires of our hearts be the desires of Your heart.   We are to reverence You and to daily praise, and worship You.  Your Word states, "In the beginning God..."  Let us begin our days with You, Lord and spend quality time in Your Word and in Your awesome presence.  Lord, thou art GOD.  There is no GOD like You.  There is no GOD with You.  I know not any because there is none else - none but You!!!
