Scriptures are from the King James Bible.
I didn't have a post scheduled for today but Satan violated in here this a.m. so I had to do my holy duty, and stop to issue him a ticket.
Here is what our Lord told me to write on the ticket issued this a.m. to Satan:
Numbers 12:1
And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses...
Numbers 12:2
...And the Lord heard it.
Numbers 12:8
...wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
Judges 2:12
...and provoked the Lord to anger.
Isaiah 34:8
For it is the day of the Lord's vengeance, and the year of recompences...
For GOD's people:
When the Devil fights us we must hit him back with the weapons of our warfare. We are NOT to fold, faint, or surrender to his wickedness. The Word of GOD says to us in Joshua 1:7, "Only be thou strong and very courageous,..."
Our Lord asks this question, "Does Satan know you?"
Mark 1:34
...and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.
Mark 3:11
And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.
The Acts 19:15
And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
Some months ago, I was walking down the street in route to the store. "Out of the blue" a woman verbally assaulted me. She said, "Get out of my way you
m.f. b---h." She said it in a vicious tone. I had never before seen that woman. My full armor of GOD was on. The battle is not ours, but GOD'S - 2 Chronicles 20:15. Isaiah 38:14 says, "...O Lord,...undertake for me." I had no fear. Also, I didn't have a conscious thought before, involuntarily, both my arms "flew" up in the air and I started speaking in tongues. That stunned the woman. She didn't say another word, and immediately after our Lord intervened, she left me alone.
Later I told one of my Christian relatives about it. Some readers here probably know that there are times when even other Christians don't understand... She said something like "Why would that woman oppose you and she didn't even know you?" My response was that the devil in her knows the GOD in me. It is in the spirit realm. Our Lord's Word says that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places - Ephesians 6.
Satan has various ways of coming against us, and our Lord gives us various ways to hit back at Satan. We need to stay tuned to our Lord to know what to do, how and when.
There are scores of people now who do NOT fear GOD. Years ago, there was more fear of GOD, even among sinners. There were just some things that were, for the most part, just not done. Many people have become colder and colder against the things of GOD. The result is an increase in vicious actions.
Several times our Lord has led me to say to people, "You're not afraid of GOD yet, but you will be - sooner, or later, or when it is too late." There are "seasons" when painful truths must be expressed, but we are mandated by our Lord to express His truths in the spirit of LOVE.
Jeremiah 5:22 - 25
Fear ye not me? saith the Lord: will ye not tremble at my presence...
But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone.
Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the Lord our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter,...
Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you.
Jeremiah 5:29
Shall I not visit for these things: saith the Lord: shall not my soul be avenged on such...
What is the answer for Christians? We should become hotter and hotter for JESUS. For the past couple of days, the Lord has told me to "blast" against the powers of darkness. Last night I dreamed that I was in "blast" mode. I am for radical Christianity - something like John the Baptist re-visited. That is a radical righteous ticket. Oh Lord, ticket us with radical Holy Ghost fire that gushes out of the core of our sanctified beings. And imprint on those tickets, "ROCK WARRIORS AHEAD - STONE SERIOUS ABOUT VICTORIOUS SPIRITUAL WARFARE!" Oh Glory!
Nahum 2:1
He that dasheth in pieces is come up before thy face: keep the munition, watch the way, make thy loins strong, fortify thy power mightily.
Nahum 2:3,4
The shield of his mighty men is made red, the valiant men are in scarlet: the chariots shall be with flaming torches in the day of his preparation, and the fir trees shall be terribly shaken.
The chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall justle one against another in the broad ways; they shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings.
Nahum 2:11, 12
Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feedingplace of the young lions, where is the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them afraid?
The lion did tear in pieces enough for his whelps, and strangled for his lionesses, and filled his holes with prey, and his dens with ravin.
Romans 13:4
For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

THANK YOU, JESUS - SATAN GETS ANOTHER TICKET
ReplyDeleteYou know, Sandra, I have heard many, many folks say that the books of the prophets are boring. There must be something wrong with me, because I find them to be so eternally alive, full of never-changing truths.
ReplyDeleteNext time someone verbally assaults me, maybe I'll scare the H out of 'em by speaking in an eruption of tongues. Hmmmm :)
Hi Clint -
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting and commenting.
No, Clint, there is nothing wrong with you.
Our Lord is about the FULL gospel. We should not pick and choose - that is an insult to our sovereign Father GOD.
I love the prophetic books. There is some fierce spiritual warfare going on in those books that so appeals to me. Of course, the entire Bible is to be loved, but we can have our favorites, right?!
I embrace the entire Bible content. That is as it should be - May GOD help us all...
As for the next time someone verbally assaults you...what I did probably will not work for every occasion because Satan has various methods and evil devices. I have spoke in tongues with other people who were in demonic mode, and they didn't respond as that subject woman did. I have encountered some folks who appear to have no fear of what I say or do in the name of JESUS. Some have chosen to persist in their viciousness, regardless. That is why it is important for us to be in tune with our Lord for how to handle each circumstance.
Whether people fear GOD now or later, they will fear..
My prayer is that people will surrender to GOD before they receive from Him their day of reckoning.
Speaking of speaking in tongues....
ReplyDeleteI belong to a large Methodist church. In my lifetime, through moves to various parts of the country and membership in different Methodist churches, I have never experienced anyone in all those years speak in tongues. I can only imagine the complete anarchy that would occur if, one fine Sunday, someone up and started speaking that way. It would be delicious to me to see the upsetting of the apple cart, the fright and bewilderment of the congregation. I would love it. Your thoughts?
Clint I recently joined an AME Methodist church and the day that I joined the pastor was speaking in tongues and someone in the congregation asked him about that; he replied if one is walking in holiness it is evident of the holy spirit in that person. I believe the pastor came from a pentecostal background and it was the evidence of the holy spirit within him. The church is very charismatic and vocal in its worship so if someone spoke in tongues it would not be that noticeable only when the pastor spoke in tongues was it noticeable to the congregation.
ReplyDeleteGreetings -
ReplyDelete@Clint
I am a firm believer in the FULL gospel. 1 Corinthians 14:39 says, "...forbid not to speak in tongues."
1 Corinthians 14:40 says, "Let all things be done decently and in order."
There are believers in Christ who DON'T believe in speaking in tongues. I attended Sunday school at a Baptist church one Sunday and the teacher spoke against tongues. He called it gibberish and spoke strongly against speaking in tongues. Our Lord told me to remain silent and NOT to speak up to defend the truth of the FULL gospel that it is indeed in the Bible in 1 Corinthians 14:39, "forbid not to speak in tongues." We are to speak as our Lord leads and to remain silent as He leads. I was not led to speak...
I have met some Christians who are extreme with speaking in tongues who believe that they are superior because they speak in tongues and other Christians do not. I have met some carnal tongue talking Christians who DON'T flow in love. And I have met some non tongue talking Christians who DO flow in love. The greatest gift is love...
One of my relatives was a FERVENT Christian. He is now with our Lord. He didn't speak in tongues but I am certain that he was a truth walker in the kingdom of GOD.
I firmly support adherence to the FULL gospel. I DO, without apology, speak in tongues. But when I visit churches that I know do NOT adhere to that, I respect...accordingly. Also, when I have contact with Christians who don't speak in tongues, I don't push that FULL gospel truth on them.
The bottom line is - tongue talking or not...if we don't do the Word of GOD the best that we know, according to our Lord's expectations, we cannot enter into His kingdom. Only God knows precisely what He uniquely expects from each Christian. The Word of GOD is our guide, but the Spirit of GOD leads us uniquely, as well. I don't know it all but I DO KNOW that GOD expects, and mandates that we love.
I believe that we truth walkers should most deeply strive to promote love.
@PMQ
Praise God that your Methodist pastor is anointed, and speaks in tongues. I have observed him. He has holy fruit. Glory to GOD!
More about the speaking in tongues matter.
ReplyDeleteIn concert with obedience to our Lord's Word, speaking in tongues brings forth more power of GOD than not indulging in such. In essence, it amplifies the power of GOD that is within. The result is keener discernment, keener ability to hear from GOD, keener ability in other righteous endeavors. It is the FULLNESS OF GOD as opposed to less than the fullness of Him.
My relative who was fervent in GOD didn't have the FULLNESS OF OUR LORD because He didn't speak in tongues, and resultantly did not have what that provides. But yes, he sure was a true man of GOD, as are others who don't speak in tongues who do the best that they can to please our Lord...
Years ago, another one of my Christian relatives
was firmly against speaking in tongues until one day she asked the Lord that if it was of Him, to please prove it to her. Our Lord did, and now she speaks in tongues, gladly.
My firm belief is that with all of the increased perversion that we Christians have to contend with in this world, we need every holy weapon
that is available. I certainly wouldn't want to be without speaking in tongues because so much of my strength, fire power, and warfare triumphs are bolstered by that precious powerful gift that aids so effectively.
My spirit bears witness with your post Sandra.
ReplyDeleteHi Wanda -
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting and commenting.
I appreciate you, lady of GOD
Wow Sandra! I SO needed to hear you speak the Lord's truths. I have been feeling so under attack lately, and just reading your blog gave me God's word to speak in my head and heart!
ReplyDeleteJesus has used you at this moment to minister right into me!
Thank you SO MUCH!
blessings, sister!

Hi Janet -
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting and commenting.
Praise GOD that He provided what you needed. Isn't He so wonderful that He does that for us?!
Our Lord leads us to help one another because He knows that we need one another to thrive for His glory! We have heard it said, "I'm a survivor."
Our Lord told me NOT to decree that - but rather to declare, "I am a thriver." Only through GOD can we thrive. Bless His holy name!
I followed the lion here. How refreshing to read of your strength in the Lord, and your boldness for Him! You are God's true warrior...
ReplyDeleteLately my friends and I, my sons and I, have been talking about how the enemy's attacks seem to be increasing - both in their frequency and their viciousness. Perhaps his time is short...
ReplyDeleteThanks for this inspiring word - and the encouragement to stand stronger. May the power of the Holy Spirit increase in me...
GOD BLESS!
Hi Sharon-
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed Satan knows that his time is shorter.
That is why his viciousness has increased and will continue to do so. That is why we Christians must become hotter and hotter for our Lord and His missions.
We must steadfastly hit Satan back with GOD'S weapons of warfare....
Hi Deborah Ann -
ReplyDeleteWelcome - thank you for visiting.
I appreciate your comments. May we all steadfastly follow the Lion of the tribe of Juda - Revelation 5.
The devil hates me, too, my friend. Your scriptures are wonderful weapons; thanks for sharing. I love to pray in tongues. I need it right now and am so humbled and grateful for that gift in my warfare with a Jezebel spirit. May the Lord bless you and keep you.
ReplyDeleteHi, Sandra...
ReplyDeleteI read this post when you first posted it, but I must've gotten sidetracked and never came back to comment. Clint's post today reminded me...so here I am!!!
First of all, I love how you fill your posts with the Word. I confess, I am weak in the Word of God and I need to really commit myself to it more. My hubby is so passionate about the Word and I've always admired his ability to immerse himself in the Scripture!
With regard to speaking in tongues...yeah, that is a hot button isn't it! I have been around "charismatic" churches since the beginning of my walk with the Lord (but have in recent years pulled away, for a variety of reasons). So I'm used to tongues. While it doesn't scare me or anything, I never did understand it. And yes, I have the ability to speak in tongues but it is very rare, even with the amount of intense spiritual warfare I've experienced. I can't force it, I have to really be "moved by the Spirit" to use this gift.
But I have always been confused by the teachings I've heard...I've been confused by the concept of a "prayer language" vs. the gift of tongues, which I understand to be two different things. In all of my years of being around it, hearing sermons on it, seeing it done and doing it myself, I've never understood it, lol!
And I definitely agree, speaking in tongues is absolutely not a mark of the depth of one's spirituality...however I'm not so sure that people who do NOT have that gift are "missing out" on something "more powerful". That is also an area I've struggled to agree with, the mindset that being able to speak in tongues gives one more "power" than if one didn't. For me, it is the level of surrender which gives the power, and that, to me, is not measured by a spiritual gift. If that makes any sense at all. When I meet other believers, I never even think about tongues. It never occurs to me to even wonder whether or not they do.
This is definitely one of those areas that God will have to give me understanding on, lol!
I do appreciate your heart, Sandra. You are a gift to the Body of Christ!! I always enjoy reading your blogs, it's like being cleansed. :)
Hi Mining for Diamonds -
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting and commenting.
I can respect and appreciate your viewpoints.
Praise GOD that all of His children are gifts to His body. Bless His name!
Note: I was compelled by our Lord to do a separate post today titled, "SPEAKING IN TONGUES."
Hi Saleslady371 -
ReplyDeleteThank you...
I am blessed and encouraged that you expressed,
"Your scriptures are wonderful weapons; thanks for sharing. I love to pray in tongues."
Praise to our Lord for His wondrous words and the gift of tongues. He is awesome and above all else.
I appreciate this post so much because like you I believe in the FULL GOSPEL, the FULL OPERATION of the SPIRITUAL GIFTS.
ReplyDeletePraying in tongues feeds and strengthens my spirit. It is praying directly to God through my spirit, not through my intellect.
Thank you for making this topic so clear.
I also read your other post, the sequel to this one - and it was also very good.
These are days of intense spiritual warfare, and we would do well to familiarize ourselves and to use all the spiritual weapons available to us.
And your reminder to do it in love, not in pride or self righteousness, is very important.
Thank you for your sensitivity.
Love
Lidj
