DANCE OF FIRE

I wrote the content on this blog with sincere and holy intentions with the knowledge that I had at the time... We live, learn and amend...as errors are exposed and more truths are revealed...

Only GOD is perfect. It's vital that you seek the Lord to expose any errors that you've embraced. Please ask Him to expose any areas of darkness to you and for what is necessary to do to dispossess what's NOT of truth.

POETRY: DANCE OF FIRE

Flames of fire dance joyfully as dreams of fervor conjure up images of red hot passion for the gusto of life.

Sizzle, spark, explode -

Fireballs light up the sky. Wow! a thunder flash with a clap -

The flames are vivid with the awesome glow of orange colors blended with yellow highlights that accent the blaze.

This display is the bomb torched with a rocket plan. Such rapture has lit our fire. We are dynamite on this journey.

Come on fire, fall on us. Pour your liquid potency. Ignite our souls that we may be engulfed with magnified intensity.

Blow up our hearts. Dance with us....

Sandra

THE GLORY IS ON THE FLOOR

Greetings -

Immediately below is an e-mail that I shared this past Friday with a fellow Christian who was interested in what I expressed below.  Please note, in particular, relative to that e-mail what I highlighted in yellow.

After that, please scroll down to read what I observed today on T. D. Jakes' Sunday service that was streamed live.

Here is the e-mail content sent Friday:

Hi -

My day usually begins about 4-5 a.m. The Lord wakes me up automatically....  My day typically begins speaking in tongues in the shower, then on to reading the Word of our Lord, and prayer. I enjoy prayer on my knees three times a day ideally (Daniel 6:10) but at least in the a.m. and before I get in bed.  I also pray prostrate as I love to remind myself in those postures that GOD is sovereign.  I pray sitting and standing, as well....but have a particular fondness for on my knees and prostrate.

A couple of years ago, I read where a pastor stated something to the effect, "If we can eat three natural meals a day, why can't we spend time with our Lord in His Word/prayer at least three times a day?"  It made huge sense to me.  My aim is to do that - I do not always make three times a day but usually I manage twice.

Morning devotion is typically my lengthiest - afternoon devotion - less - and night less than that time (about one Bible chapter and a short prayer on my knees.)

This is what I observed from T. D. Jakes:

Today T.D Jakes made a statement, “The glory is on the floor.” It was an anointed message.

People in the congregation, men and women, were on the floor at the front of the church.  Some were on their knees - while others were prostrate on their faces.  At one point, Jakes was prostrate on the floor.

Anointed singers were singing, “The glory is on the floor.”  The presence of the Lord was major in flow. Hallelujah.

After I watched Jakes’ service - to the floor I went – and it ministered….!

Tonight the Lord gave me the following scriptures:

This scripture is about what JESUS did:

Matthew 26:39
And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, …

Ezekiel 1:28
…This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.

Ezekiel 3:23
…the glory of the Lord stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my face.

Ezekiel 4:44
…behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord: and I fell upon my face.

Luke 5:12
…who seeing Jesus fell on his face,…

Luke 17:15
…and with a loud voice glorified God.

Luke 17:16
And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

Daniel 6:10
…he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

Psalm 55:17
Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

Psalm 119:164
Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.

Numbers 12:5
And the Lord came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called…and they…came forth.

  1. I have been re-reading "Praise, Faith in Action" by Charles Trombley. It gets into the actual words for "praise" that are simply translated into praise in English. I need to write a piece on that soon because the original language (Aramaic, Greek, Hebrew) all have much more detailed descriptions of what that word praise means. It would totally revolutionize "praise" in most churches today.... soon!

  2. Thank you, Marijo - please notify when you do the subject piece. I am interested in the content, indeed.

  3. Update:

Since I posted this, I have been on the floor prostrate every morning before our Lord.
I have been in said posture with worship music playing, praying in English and in tongues, and worshipping and praising the Lord.

I have done this for 9 days straight. Prostrate praying has been a posture for me previously but this season is the first time that I have done it every morning for straight days. Most definitely it has made a sure difference in my relationship with the Lord!
The difference in so few days has surprised me.
I feel closer to Him. And this morning, I said joyfully to our Lord as I lay on the floor, "This is where I belong." I felt a strong sense of His approval.

Of course, prostrate praying or any other praying posture is of none effect if we are as Joshua as stated in Joshua 7:6,10, 11:

"And Joshua rent his clothes, and fell to the earth upon his face before the ark of the Lord until the eventide,.."

"And the Lord said unto Joshua, Get thee up; wherefore liest thou thus upon thy face?"

    "Israel hath sinned,..."

Well, the Lord has not told me to "Get thee up."
Whew! My prayer is that He will never need to - but if so, repent I will do...we have an Advocate with the Father....

Now I am not saying that the Lord leads all of His children in such ways as we are all unique.
My testimony is what it has done for me and the noticeable difference in my communion with our Lord.

Some lightness: I am not walking on water but maybe one day...

Prayer: Father please help us to uniquely reach our highest levels in You for Your awesome glory. Thank you, Lord - Amen
