DANCE OF FIRE

I wrote the content on this blog with sincere and holy intentions with the knowledge that I had at the time... We live, learn and amend...as errors are exposed and more truths are revealed...

Only GOD is perfect. It's vital that you seek the Lord to expose any errors that you've embraced. Please ask Him to expose any areas of darkness to you and for what is necessary to do to dispossess what's NOT of truth.

POETRY: DANCE OF FIRE

Flames of fire dance joyfully as dreams of fervor conjure up images of red hot passion for the gusto of life.

Sizzle, spark, explode -

Fireballs light up the sky. Wow! a thunder flash with a clap -

The flames are vivid with the awesome glow of orange colors blended with yellow highlights that accent the blaze.

This display is the bomb torched with a rocket plan. Such rapture has lit our fire. We are dynamite on this journey.

Come on fire, fall on us. Pour your liquid potency. Ignite our souls that we may be engulfed with magnified intensity.

Blow up our hearts. Dance with us....

Sandra

NO FEAR

Note about the photo below:

My friend was in Italy in November 2010 to visit her dear friend.

Both of them are strong Christians.

Her friend took this photo outside of Saint Peter's Square at the Vatican in Rome.

Notice the "DOVE" shape in the clouds.

Greetings -

Scriptures from the King James Bible

GOD HAS NOT GIVEN US A SPIRIT OF FEAR

And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. (2 Kings 6:16)

…but with us is the Lord our God to help us; and to fight our battles… (See 2 Chronicles 32:8)

God is the Master of everything. There are holy battle plans revealed unto us by His Spirit. He is a God who has dominion over the temporal, and the eternal. We serve a supernatural God who operates in the realm of the visible, and the invisible – He is the God of it all.

Our role is to conform to His precepts, and to delight in His testimonies. When we heed what He commands, we benefit in manifold ways as God faithfully rewards our loyalty to what He instructs.

The righteous engage in warfare to destroy the works of the Devil. We have at our ready the power of Almighty God who sends forth His heavenly army with His angels to fight the forces of evil.

When we are engaged in combat we must remember that our protection is allegiance to God’s truth – being mindful that we are covenant people with missions of holiness. We are appointed to resist fear for there is no need to fear since the Father assures that He is our battle strategist. At His beckoning, His army flanks, and surrounds us. And He gives His angels charge over us to keep us in all our ways. With our full armor in place, we are a force through God, the unconquerable Military Master.

At times, we tend to give glory to Satan when we allow our hearts to become distracted by his opposition. God tells us to guard our hearts and to give no place to the devil. The Word states, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” (Isaiah 26:3). Yes, we will become battle weary and need our Father to restore our souls, and to renew our strength. He is there to help us – he promised that He will never fail us or forsake us.

Let us strive, in earnest, to remember whose we are, and whom we serve. The power of God is mightier than any force of wicked energy. We are appointed to let the peace of God rule in our hearts because we indeed belong to the Most High who is more than enough to defeat the foes of His gospel. He can do that unhindered if we fight the good fight of faith - in Him.  Our cooperation can guarantee the victories, thanks be unto God!

  1. Your sentence about God's protection reminds me of Proverbs 30.5.

    I love this line: "At times, we tend to give glory to Satan when we allow our hearts to become distracted by his opposition."

    I don't want to bow down to anyone but God!

    Thank you for this post. I hope you have an amazing Christmas!

  3. Hi Sandra,

    I was thinking about this very topic today; how fear undermines the very fabric of our faith.

    "We are appointed to resist fear..." -- I like this thought! We have The Immanuel, God with us...has promised to never leave or forsake us.

    Blessings and peace.

  5. Hi Sharon -

    Thank you...I appreciate your kindness and consideration.

    You don't need my forgiveness. We all have our priorities...that need our attention...

    PRIORITY 1 of course is GOD.

  6. Hum, my comment disappeared... when we fear we are in essence saying that we do not trust or think God is big enough to carry us through a given situation.

  8. Oh boy, Sandra - you're speaking WARRIOR LANGUAGE again! You know how I love that!!

    I really liked this thought that you had - that we give glory to Satan when we allow him to distract us. Hmmm... That was a really powerful thought, and I've been pondering it. I never looked at it that way - but it rings of truth. To the extent that we give undue attention to anything or anyone other than God, you are so right - we are glorifying something that comes from the enemy.

    I don't want that - NO SIR!!

    Thanks for an inspiring post - as always, I leave encouraged and blessed!

    GOD BLESS!

  9. Greetings -

    Thank you all for visiting.

    @Marijo
    You are so right about what we are saying, "in essence..."

    @Dee
    Thank you for your kind and thoughtful wishes.

    May our Lord give you His richness in manifold ways.

    @Sharon
    Yes, Sharon, WARRIOR LANGUAGE it is...Also, I love that we, GOD's people, can DO exploits, so says Daniel 11:32 - KJV, among other places in GOD'S Word.

    Truly, we do not want to waste energy giving glory to Satan. He craves attention...

    You are certainly welcome, Sharon.
