GREETINGS -
POSSESS THE KINGDOM OF GOD:
Daniel 7:22
Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
Remember, precious people, that we are heirs of GOD and joint-heirs with JESUS Christ, our Lord. GOD did not create us to be heirs only when we reach heaven. He created us to be heirs in our conduct now, in earth, as His Word informs. We are not some weary, downtrodden, forsaken paupers waiting on the kingdom to come. For those who are ready – GOD’s kingdom is NOW!
Some have been saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost. The ultimate is to be in the constant realm of GOD’s glory. That is a position of being fully certain that GOD is our Friend, and that we humbly walk with Him – Micah 6:8. It is a place that we are completely sure, and secure that GOD is our Father, our Source, and our Keeper who provides everything that we need when we need it and who we need it from – according to His decisive, and wise plans.
To be fully in the kingdom is to be habitually kingdom-minded, and in a thought mode where the kingdom way is increasingly automatic. We can, through GOD, be so in tune with the leading of the Holy Spirit that we think holy thoughts, say holy things, and do holy things – on the regular. Sin will no longer have dominion over us because we have been elevated to kingdom heights while on earth. That can be our reality if we do what the Lord requires to be steadily in such a place. Of course, we all sin and come short of GOD’s glory; however, we can be at spiritual growth levels where, increasingly, we do holiness instinctively.
We do not need to tolerate the nonsense of the Devil, and his cohorts. GOD commands that we love the sinners but hate the sins. GOD equips so that we can love the hell out of some people. That cannot happen if we are afraid of Satan, his threats, and wicked deeds. The Devil has a kingdom – the Word of GOD informs us that Satan’s kingdom will be destroyed while the kingdom of GOD is for eternity. Our Lord commands us to be bold, and to preach the gospel of the kingdom – Matthew 9:35. We are to take authority over evil because the Word of GOD tells us that He has given us power and authority over all devils. The word “all” means just what it says. We are not to insult GOD with unbelief, fear, and worldliness. He is so delighted when we operate with kingdom mindsets with actions that relay to Satan that we do, no doubt, know that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.
We need to stay combat ready as commanded in Ephesians 6. We need to know Whose we are and that our Father is not the weaker one as sometimes our conduct demonstrates. We have our moments when we believe more in the power of Satan than the power of GOD, Who is the most High. Everything about Satan is inferior to GOD. GOD has preeminence over the total of all that exists. Satan is GOD’s creation – certainly, he cannot surpass the Lord in anything!
Are we earthly kingdom people in mode for elevation to ultimate kingdom placement – eternity with our blessed Father GOD?
Daniel 7:18
But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and posess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.
Psalm 103:19
The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

Possess the kingdom of GOD...
ReplyDeleteWe can't out-think Satan. He has been around for centuries longer than any of us. Satan's worldly wisdom and guile will whip our tail no matter what we try to do -- except seek the Wonderful Counselor for what to do. God's advice, as crazy as it sounds some times, will surprise the devil every time!
ReplyDeleteAnd don't forget, some of the people around us are being guided by demonic divination. We can't defeat their wisdom because it isn't their wisdom. The Holy Spirit must be consulted there as well.
Hi Timothy -
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comments...
I am not understanding fully what you have expressed.
There is nothing in the subject topic that indicates that we can out-think Satan or defeat Satan in our own power. The Word of God informs us that we have power and authority over all devils (Luke 9:1) and Luke 10:19 says, "...I give you power...over all the power of the enemy:..."
Nor did I mention anything in the subject topic to indicate that we can defeat the wisdom of Satan or his demonic messengers without the Lord.
Please clarify what you meant. The impression that I got from your comments is that I mentioned something to indicate that we can gain victory over Satan and all of his evil without the Lord as our SOURCE of power.
I want to be clear that without GOD, we can do nothing. I do not want anyone to believe that I believe otherwise. Is that the impression that you believe that I expressed?
Please advise.
Thank you, Timothy.
You said, "We can, through GOD, be so in tune with the leading of the Holy Spirit that we think holy thoughts, say holy things, and do holy things – on the regular." I agree that as we depend upon the Lord in all our ways, we will have victory. If we depend upon ourselves to do what we think is good, things will fall apart. Christians usually don't understand how extensively we ought to acknowledge Him.
ReplyDeleteI once reproved the Anglican Archbishop of Uganda for dealing with one of Satan's Episcopal emissaries using his own wisdom. He should have known better. The Emissary gained political advantage using demonic advice.
Hi Timothy -
ReplyDeleteThank you for the clarification.
You stated, "If we depend upon ourselves to do what we think is good, things will fall apart."
From many experiences, I have learned how dangerous and unprofitable it is to move without the approval of GOD and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Of course, we are prone to falter but as a steadfast practice it is not only wise to heed the Holy Spirit but it is also secure.
When we tread where, when, how and with whom we have NOT been led by GOD we are inviting certain pain. To be carnally minded is death. It is sin which separates us from GOD.
You are right to stress, Timothy, that we must be aligned with GOD. It is vital to maintain pure hearts and clean hands otherwise, indeed, Satan can devour. When disobedience to GOD exists, Satan has "license" because he has been let in due to sin(s).
Thank you, Timothy, for stressing that vital matter.
OH MY, Sandra - You have me ON MY FEET, friend! This was inspired writing - powerful, and empowering! And such a rallying cry for truth!
ReplyDeleteThe Kingdom of God is HERE!
I've pulled one sentence from every paragraph:
"For those who are ready – GOD’s kingdom is NOW!" - Yes, Lord. I am ready - use me.
"The ultimate is to be in the constant realm of GOD’s glory." - Lord, remind me that our relationship is continual, in every moment. Keep me surrounded by Your Glory.
"To be fully in the kingdom is to be habitually kingdom-minded, and in a thought mode where the kingdom way is increasingly automatic." - Teach me, Lord, to think like You, to speak like You, to love like You.
"We do not need to tolerate the nonsense of the Devil, and his cohorts." - Get thee behind me, Satan. BACK OFF!
"We need to know Whose we are and that our Father is not the weaker one as sometimes our conduct demonstrates." - I serve the King, the LORD of Heaven's Armies, the Eternal One, the Almighty God of the heavens and earth!
Sandra, I'm ready to go out tomorrow and do battle for the Lord! This was a tremendous spiritual "pep talk" - one that I am tucking into my spiritual arsenal!
THANK YOU so much for sharing - GOD BLESS YOU!
Daniel 7:18
But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and posess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.
Great verse - Hallelujah, AMEN!
Hi Sharon -
ReplyDeleteThank you for your spirited comments!
It is apparent, Sharon, that you are a warrior in the army of GOD.
I love your statement, "...I am tucking into my spiritual arsenal!"
Indeed...onward Christian soldiers...
