THE SAVING GRACE OF GOD IN THE MINE

Greetings, and GLORY HALLELUJAH FOR THE RESCUE OF THE MINERS!

In one of the news reports it was stated that one of the miners expressed that there were not 33 men in the mine but 34 - that the 34th was "a higher power." Well, we know who that higher power is/was - GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY IN THE FORM OF THE FATHER, THE SON, AND THE HOLY GHOST!

Globally, souls were blessed to see the thrilling rescues. GOD WAS ON DISPLAY FOR ALL THE WORLD TO WITNESS. Bless His holy name!

One of the miners, Mario Gomez, was shown to worldwide audiences as he dropped to his knees and looked up in prayer and thanksgiving to Almighty GOD.

Miner Mario Sepulveda appeared from the mine looking robust as he broke out in song and gestured excitedly as he sang, joined by others.  It was quoted that he said in an interview, "I was with God and I was with the devil, but God won.  At no point did I doubt that God would get me out of there."

Another miner, I believe it was the 28th one rescued, stated in an interview, "...humor and religion kept us alive."

Prayer:
Glorious Father GOD, in the redemptive name of JESUS, thank You for Your saving grace and for Your rescue of the miners.   It was reported that some of the miners were Christians before the mine crisis.  It was reported also that some of them became Christians after the crisis.  One miner, in particular, was said to have provided daily spiritual encouragement to the others.  Thank you, Lord.   

It was such a blessing, Father, to know that things were done decently and in order.  The government of Chile worked skillfully and diligently to secure the rescue of those precious souls.  We heard nothing about political jockeying, infighting, delays, ego tripping or the like.  What was made abundantly clear was the value of the lives of the miners and the care and determination put in motion to get them out.

Thank you, Lord, that other countries joined with Chile to accomplish the mission.  Canada, the United States, Germany, Argentina, South Africa, and Spain all assisted in the critical assignment.  Food was donated to the families who camped out in the mine area.  A clown volunteered his time to entertain and comfort the children.  There was even a makeshift school erected to give children their lessons. Thank You, Lord, for all of the volunteers, workers, experts and professionals that contributed to the success of the task.  Major unity was on display.  Bless Your holy name, Lord.

Father, we are grateful, that You so obviously were on the scene above and below.  We celebrate You, Lord, we worship You, we salute You - most of all for who You are - sovereign almighty GOD - but also for all that You do - because You rule in the kingdom of men and beyond!!!
