DANCE OF FIRE
I wrote the content on this blog with sincere and holy intentions with the knowledge that I had at the time... We live, learn and amend...as errors are exposed and more truths are revealed...
Only GOD is perfect. It's vital that you seek the Lord to expose any errors that you've embraced. Please ask Him to expose any areas of darkness to you and for what is necessary to do to dispossess what's NOT of truth.
###
Flames of fire dance joyfully as dreams of fervor conjure up images of red hot passion for the gusto of life.
Sizzle, spark, explode -
Fireballs light up the sky. Wow! a thunder flash with a clap -
The flames are vivid with the awesome glow of orange colors blended with yellow highlights that accent the blaze.
This display is the bomb torched with a rocket plan. Such rapture has lit our fire. We are dynamite on this journey.
Come on fire, fall on us. Pour your liquid potency. Ignite our souls that we may be engulfed with magnified intensity.
Blow up our hearts. Dance with us....
Sandra

PRAYING GOD'S WORDS
Greetings -
Below I have re-posted the posted topic "WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN THESE PRAYERS?" that was originally posted on this blog on Sunday October 3, 2010. This particular post is to share what the Lord has revealed to me and some others, I am sure.
I heard or read somewhere that a useful way to engage in constructive effective communications is to "parrot" what other people say.
For instance, David may say, "I will meet you for lunch tomorrow in front of Chester's at 1 p.m."
Lisa answers, "We will meet at 1 p.m. for lunch tomorrow in front of Chester's?"
David replies, "Yes."
Lisa "parroted" to David what he had stated to her. There was clear communication there. Another factor is that people like to hear their words (exceptions being when they are involved in misdeeds...)
Awhile ago, the Lord shared with me that He likes to hear, from the righteous, His Words "parroted" - repeated back to Him. That set me to regularly praying and speaking His Words to Him as memorized from His Holy Bible - I use the King James Bible.
Prayer Example:
"Lord You said in Your Word that You will never fail us or forsake us. I thank You that from everlasting to everlasting You are GOD. I know that You are greater than all gods. You are the God of gods and the Lord of lords. You are greater than all, and I thank You. Your Word says rejoice evermore. I rejoice in Your highness, Father, and praise Your holy name. Lord, You promised that if we walk uprightly before You that You shall supply all of our needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Your Word says - Let GOD be magnified. You are my glory and the lifter up of my head. Thank You that you hear and will attend unto my prayers. I need You to strengthen us please, Lord, and to help us to keep our minds stayed on You for the perfect peace that You provide. Help us to love, Lord, and to minister to hungry souls. Help our burning lights to go and glow to draw people out of darkness and into Your marvelous light. Let us minister to You that You can minister to us. Let us press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of GOD in Christ Jesus. Thank you, Lord - Amen."
Nearly all of the words from that prayer came from the King James Bible. GOD loves to hear His Word spoken from those with pure hearts and clean hands.
In Matthew 4, JESUS did not say things to Satan like, "Leave me alone, Satan," or "Get off my back, Satan," or "I'm sick of you, Satan." He quoted scriptures to the Devil as shown below:
Matthew 4:4
...It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. That scripture came from the Old Testament in Deuteronomy 8:3.
Matthew 4:7
Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. That scripture came from the Old Testament in Deuteronomy 6:16.
Matthew 4:10
...Jesus saith unto him, Get thee hence Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Yes, Satan quoted scripture to JESUS. The difference is that JESUS had the force and power of Almighty GOD on his side because JESUS is the Son of GOD, and because He quoted scriptures from a place of righteousness. When we quote scriptures from our places of righteousness, we also have the force and power of Almighty GOD on our side. The Word of GOD states that none can withstand him and none can stay His hand (Daniel 4:35). That cannot be said, in truth, about the Devil.
Yes, the Devil can quote scriptures and he knows scriptures, but he does not obey scriptures - thus he cannot conquer the righteous and holy.
Please refer now to the Second Prayer Example shown below which is from my earlier post on Sunday October 3, 2010. That prayer is almost entirely quotes from the King James Bible.
First prayer example:
Father, thank You for waking us up this morning to see another day. Thank You, Lord, for our children and for our families. Thank You for the food we eat. Thank You for our jobs and for giving us transportation. Thank You for our pastor and his lovely wife and family.
Lord bless us this day. Bless our children and our families. Bless us, please, in our jobs. Give us all that we need. Please heal our bodies and give us strength to make it through each day. Save our loved ones, Lord, and protect us from danger. Provide for our church building fund, and defend us against our enemies.
Thank You, Lord - Amen.
Second prayer example:
Father, in the name of JESUS, you are GOD who rules in the kingdom of men. The earth is Yours, Lord, and You rule over all. We love you, Lord, because You first loved us. Thank you that You are forever the great I AM. We thank You this morning, Father, that we are Your heirs and joint heirs with Your beloved Son JESUS Christ. We appreciate that we are covenant people - bless Your holy name. We are not our own. We have been bought with a price - the precious blood of JESUS Christ. Thank you, Lord, that you are the GOD of all flesh.
Father, please lead us in the way everlasting. Teach us Your ways. We thank you, Lord, that you are sovereign and do whatsoever You please. Help us to steadfastly hunger and thirst after righteousness and to have souls that follow hard after You. Teach us to love, Lord, in ways that bring You joy, pleasure and delight. We purpose to fight the good fight of faith and to keep on Your full armor to quench all the fiery darts of the Devil. Help us, please, Lord, to be holy as You are holy.
Thank You, Lord - Amen.

Praying GOD's Words...
ReplyDeleteThis was really good. Thanks for demonstrating a subtle difference in our prayers that really changes the perspective! It's interesting, Sandra - tomorrow I am posting a "dialogue" with God - something that I wrote several days ago. It was a suggestion I heard at a recent event - taking a passage of Scripture, and then responding to it, verse by verse. I appreciate the simplicity and truth of your idea - using God's Word to pray ("parrot") back to Him. After all, it is our best weapon against all of the devil's tools! Thanks...and GOD BLESS YOU!
ReplyDeleteP.S. The picture at the beginning of this post is taken in Antelope Canyon - a beautiful canyon in Utah - my husband and I visited there - it was really spectacular!
What an excellent prayer suggestion! I will use this "parrot" method more often! Thanks for sharing your insights!!!!
ReplyDeleteA fellow intercessor at Christian Healing Ministries also heard from the Lord "Pray My Word, child, it brings healing in all areas. Trust Me and pray My Word." Joy Lamb wrote the book, "The Sword of the Spirit: The Word of God". Despite poor advertising and distribution, it has gone international in numerous languages. The cheapest source for them is the home ministry:

I go to her husband's business to buy mine.
It is the operating book for numerous prayer groups internationally. There are over 200 prayer groups using this that are on the ministry's prayer chain.
You're talking about God's Logos. I see amazing healings by using God's Rhema (His Spoken Word). Through Word of Knowledge (which I prayed for over 30 years ago), He has directed me how to pray.
ReplyDeleteWhen I pray for someone, the first thing I pray for is, "God, please teach me what to pray that I may pray according to your Will and watch things happen." I may hear the Lord tell me what to pray. He may tell me to close my eyes and look at the client. He then uses prophetic vision. I may be led to open my mouth and let fly in what I call "tongues -- in English." I often take notes afterwards as to what came out of my mouth. Sometimes it is outlandish, but it always accomplishes His Will.
