DANCE OF FIRE

I wrote the content on this blog with sincere and holy intentions with the knowledge that I had at the time... We live, learn and amend...as errors are exposed and more truths are revealed...

Only GOD is perfect. It's vital that you seek the Lord to expose any errors that you've embraced. Please ask Him to expose any areas of darkness to you and for what is necessary to do to dispossess what's NOT of truth.

POETRY: DANCE OF FIRE

Flames of fire dance joyfully as dreams of fervor conjure up images of red hot passion for the gusto of life.

Sizzle, spark, explode -

Fireballs light up the sky. Wow! a thunder flash with a clap -

The flames are vivid with the awesome glow of orange colors blended with yellow highlights that accent the blaze.

This display is the bomb torched with a rocket plan. Such rapture has lit our fire. We are dynamite on this journey.

Come on fire, fall on us. Pour your liquid potency. Ignite our souls that we may be engulfed with magnified intensity.

Blow up our hearts. Dance with us....

Sandra

WARRIORS - A RE-POST

Greetings -

Yesterday, Sharon on her blog www.sharonsharinggod.blogspot.com mentioned some warrior language that very much appealed to me.  I commented on her blog that I had written a "Warrior" piece and that I would do a re-post of it soon.  She expressed a desire to read it.  Here it is:

WARRIORS

Warriors with no wars are like –

Hearts with no beats
Smoke with no fires
Eagles with no wings
Lions with no roars
Sheep with no shepherds
Nurses with no patients
Teachers with no students
Speakers with no impact
Singers with no songs
Dancers with no steps

Supernatural holy warriors must be steadfastly combat ready and in battle formation for we do not always know what is approaching or what evil forces are in action that aim to devour. In the matter of natural military matters, even in peace time, soldiers go to boot camp, train in many disciplines, learn to shoot with precision, execute simulated military and combat exercises. They learn strategic positioning, intelligence/counter intelligence, covert operations, infiltration, ambush techniques and a host of other vital skills.

What would happen if those in the natural military waited until war time to prepare and train? They would not be combat ready. Unprepared, they would be on suicide missions, for sure! They need to be ready in peace time for the real possibilities of war! We know that though some have never served in war time, the peace time preparation and training is not in vain.

Supernaturally, the stakes are higher – souls are on the line – ours, and those who have not yet received our Lord Christ. We need battle practice and real wars for us to be cleansed, fine-tuned, chiseled, pruned, purged and toughened. Remember the 300 brave valiant men of the army with Gideon. Hebrews 12:27 states, “…that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.”

Enemies of GOD are strategically positioned by GOD to be used to present His glory and proof of His most high status. Pharaoh was a vessel fitted to destruction (Romans 9). GOD states, “For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.” That Exodus account was so awesomely effective that generations later people, even bona fide sinners, discuss it. It did precisely what GOD said it would do – kept His name in the news!!!

We need our enemies – otherwise we would be without resources to sharpen us to be victorious for GOD. Imagine if we had no enemies?! We would be spiritually flabby, lazy, and largely unprofitable. Enemies are necessary to motivate us to follow GOD and thus attain higher spiritual levels with the ultimate goal to advance the kingdom of GOD. Also, our enemies need us to demonstrate the characteristics of GOD so that they will know to choose life.

GOD is our Commander-in-Chief and He is provoked to wrath by the rag tag AWOL “Christians” who cower and have elected to be pansies in a world where revolutionary spiritual exercises are the order of this day. The renegade deserters are a sure shame to the mission of the full gospel. We must love them and pray, in earnest, for their restoration, though it is biblically sound that not all will repent.

March onward holy warriors of GOD, and in the name of Jesus – go forth to love the hell out of people. Seek from GOD methods to vanquish the forces of darkness – to subdue, to besiege, to overthrow, to ambush, to outwit, and to tear down demonic strongholds - all with fervent missions to destroy the works of the Devil. Jude 9 states of the Devil, “…The Lord rebuke thee.”

Our Lord is calling forth warriors who have embraced these words and others from the Word of GOD:

The Acts 20:24
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Philippians 1:28
And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.

Job 5:22
At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.

Job 11:19
Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid;…

Job 17:9
The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.

Job 20:5
That the triumphing of the wicked is short,…

Job 23:12
Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

Job 26:5
…I will not remove my integrity from me.

Job 26:6
My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.

Psalm 3:6
I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.

Exodus 15:3
The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name.

Psalm 27:3
Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

Jeremiah 12:8:
If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?

I Timothy 1:18
…war a good warfare.

Jeremiah 51:20
Thou art my battle ax and weapons of war:…

Daniel 7:21
I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;

Daniel 7:22
Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

Ephesians 6:11
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Ephesians 6:13
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Holy Warrior Mandates:

Love GOD in accordance with Mark 12:30

Steadfastly demonstrate the fruits of the Spirit.
One reference of such: Galatians 5:22

Praise GOD and Pray
Some references: Psalm 150:6, Psalm 119:164, Daniel 6:10, Psalm 55:17, and Psalm 63:8

Worship GOD, and Fast.
Some references: John 4:23, The Acts 24:14, Matthew 17:21

The Lord asks,
Exodus 32:26: “…Who is on the Lord’s side? let him come unto me…”

  3. Sandra,
This was AWESOME!! Very inspiring! I really liked how you pointed out that warfare is something that motivates us to seek God, to rely on His power, and to call on His strength. I was reminded of these Scriptures:

"For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places...Therefore, put on every piece of God's armor so you will be able to resist the enemy...Then after the battle you will STANDING FIRM." (Ephesians 6:12-13)

    FIGHT ON, Sandra!!

P.S. Just a side note: the address for my blog was incorrect (it's OK, no worries!!) Here's the correct address:

    GOD BLESS!

    @ Bernadine -
Yes, we have much to think about...Thank you for visiting.

    @ Sharon -
Yes, indeed we need the warfare for, among other things, to keep us aware that without our SOURCE GOD, we are feeble for sure....

Ephesians 6:12-13 - so helpful in warfare!
Thank you for sharing it, Sharon.

Note: Please forgive me that I posted your blog address wrong. I corrected it.

  5. Hi Vickie -

Thank you for visiting. You are certainly welcome here.

    Indeed we all need encouragement.

You stated, "I am in love with the word of God and love to interact with those who have that same desire." It is such a pleasure to know that you love the word of God and are about His business.

  6. This was sent to me, via e-mail, from Karen:

    5:40 PM

I heartily agree. Soldiers who are not only unpracticed and unprepared, but also malnourished at the start of battle will not be of much use to God. Daily prayer and Bible reading is a must.

I have found a crucible in the writers' forums at Triond. Most of the regular forum dwellers there are very outspoken atheists who believe that all Christians are idiots. I know that I fit the category of "idiot" in many conversations there, especially the ones that get heated. But the experience has taught me that I need to have my spiritual weapons and armour prepared ahead of time, so that I am already prepared to give an answer to anyone who asks the reason for the hope that is in me (1 Peter 3:15).
